Loved Dead Heat too. Handgun (1994) is a decent 90s crime thriller. Mulholland Falls is also a good neo noir. He was recently on We Own This City, a David Simon Max series.

It's so sad to see such an accident take away a person who seemed so outright pleasant and polite despite having reached a certain level of fame that some let go to their heads.
Avoiding mention of the other movies everyone discuessed, I watched his direct-to-video "The Substitute" sequels so many times in my teenage years. Treat Williams was a very charismatic actor. I hope his family can find peace with his passing.
