Keegan Murray is not allowed to play Summer League no more Lmao he goes out there and be killing them Lol, coach said he isn’t playing Vegas. But wisely used this time to be the man to take control and make things happen himself instead of being parked in the corner for threes. If Keegan can make a significant jump, the Kings just RUNNING IT BACK isn’t the end of the world. |

He's looking like what Miles Bridges has become A player who understands his role on a good team but if you let him loose he can put up pockets. If Keegan can follow that same projection he is on, he becomes a scary scoring option with Sabonis only ever needing to chip in 15-18PPG as the 3rd option |

You couldn't even get your footwork right from Hakeem when every big man and player in general went to Hakeem for that particular reason. You got to the chip in your prime but didn't win it. You undermined every place you went to after Houston when you were supposed to be the star. He was amazing for 5 years where he was a 20 and 13 player with tremendous defense but you can make an argument he is a guy who fell out his prime after he turned 25 |

It is close. Jokic is putting up insane numbers but it's with the benefit of pace of play and more possessions. Jokic in 2008 is probably averaging 8 boards and 7-8 assists, which is still great numbers but not the same, and it makes the argument closer. They're just SO different. Prime Dwight was an insane defender and a very, very good offensive player. Prime Jokic is a swiss army knife on offense and is putting up like prime Kawhi-type efficiency numbers, while being largely an afterhtought on D tho he did elevate in the playoffs. But they didn't win on D. Dwight compares to David Robinson (but worse), where as Jokic compares to more of a guard or forward. He's a force on offense, but not the way that big men usually are or have ever been. |

The trade is centered around Herro but they don’t need him. Portland is basically trying to bring in a 3rd team that will take Herro while they recover assets Detroit would been probably ideal trade partner but they seem content on just building this year after spending all their cap. Maybe a Pacers or Hornets jump in at the right price. |

So what's the prize for this mid-season tournament? Because the whole reason anyone will care about this any more than Summer League is if there's some kind of prize awaiting the winner. And if the prize is financial incentives for the players, then why do the fans care? Because I'm not going to go out of my way to cheer for the Celtics in this pointless tournament if the end result is each player gets an additional $1 million. I'd suggest Lillard and Jusuf Nurkic's ghastly contract in exchange for Adebayo, Tyler Herro, and a collection of draft picks and pick swaps. The Heat are now negotiating against no one else, so the Blazers should absolutely hold them over a barrel. And if Miami balks, then Damian Lillard can return to Portland. And if Lillard is upset and sits out, then that's no problem, it's not like the Blazers are going anywhere in 2023-24, the objective of this upcoming season is to develop Scoot Henderson into a prospective superstar. |
