Traditionally speaking, a champion in wrestling or boxing is only "undisputed" if they hold ALL the world titles. Neither Auska or Roman even hold all the World titles in the WWE.   |

Hell, there's only ever been one time when the Women's title was more disputed and that's when Laycool were each carrying half of the belt and the Divas Title was still around on the other show.

I'm telling y'all, it's a tie in with Fox and they're setting up a Skip Bayless v. Asuka match.
Also it makes sense for Roman to cling to "Undisputed". He united the WWE and Universal titles, which in WWE land ties together the NWA, WCW, ECW, WHC, WWE, and Universal titles.
Why should he acknowledge a title made because he can't be beaten?

Patrick Mahomes walking around with the WWE title for days everywhere after winning the Super Bowl? Brands pay these athletes hundreds of thousands of dollars to do something WWE can accomplish by mailing them a belt. |

I mean... most of the time, the best player on the team is wearing the belt at the Victory Parade, so (or at least Patrick Mahomes did.... one of the major faces of the most popular professional sports team in the US). I think the teams love getting these. |
