1. Last Crusade
This movie really makes me laugh, the action set piece with the tank at the end rules and the father son dynamic is brilliant. Plus the Nazis as the villains again.
2. Temple of Doom
An absolute blast to watch. Completely silly and ridiculous at times but it's so fun.
3. Raiders of the Lost Ark
I really like it as well but I just much prefer the other two from the 80's.
Feel free to rank Crystal Skull and the new one (if you've seen it- I haven't yet) in there too if you wish.

Crystal Skull is my second favorite. All the rest are tied for first.
No really.
But I REALLY need to rewatch the original trilogy sometime.

1. Raiders – a near-perfect adventure movie 2. Last Crusade – could easily switch for first 3. Crystal Skull – a distant third, but I don't hate it 4. Temple of Doom – an even more distant fourth, nothing really works for me, mine cart chase notwithstanding

1. The Last Crusade - the banter between Harrison Ford and Sean Connery really sells it 2. Raiders of the Lost Ark - excellent movie, it's really close between this and Crusade for the best 3. Temple of Doom - it hasn't aged very well, has it? 4. Crystal Skull - although I don't think it's terrible, I struggle to find anything I actually liked

Someone could probably talk me into Crusade over Raiders….it’s the one I’ve seen the most times. But Raiders has Karen Allen and she’s incredible in it

I really like Raiders and Belloq is a stronger villain, but the chemistry and character work between Indy and his dad is so strong, it just edges out the dynamic between him and Marion. Marcus as a funnier character adds a lot too.

raiders is ABOVE all, classic action, classy direction and superb cinematography, a balls-out adventure temple's beginning sequence is bloody incredible, then it turns REAL dark! much watched too, had the fullscreen vhs, and the bbc horizon docu from 1984 (filming the impossible) had the behind the scenes from that, 2010 and return of the jedi crusade i saw a couple times in the cinema, gloriously old fashioned in style and substance, set pieces that were extremely well done ... and that ride off into the sunset ... oh how we didn't know crystal skull almost redefines the franchise, and it should have! however the stunning set pieces are a little to long, especially the jungle run! still funny and exciting and a little bit trolly at the end absolutely LOVE the end sequence, and usually have my tv up LOUD when i see it
