I'd be surprised since they were (are?) set to defend their tag titles at WrestleDream. Did kind of feel like they held back on something or other but that would have been odd.

The anxiety that builds when they're around each other in moments like that is fantastic, every bit as good as the feel good stuff in it's own way, so I'd hope a turn isn't pencilled in just yet.

OK gotcha. I saw other posters bringing up the possibility of Adam turning on Max last night, so I was wondering if it was reported anywhere that was the original plan last night.

Just wanted to make a comment on MJF’s backstage interview with Renee, his “please pick up Adam” had so much emotion in it, he sounded legitimately desperate. MJF as a vulnerable babyface is working surprisingly well for me.

I really love Roddy and co. passive aggressively having Cole in captivity, that's a really doofy pro wrestling-y thing that this whole Cole/MJF saga excels at in addition to balancing that with the big friendship melodrama.

Hidden beneath all the silliness of these skits is Roddy (with help from the Kingdom) being a real manipulative bastard playing on Adam Cole's guilt.

My main problem with the Cole and Strong skits of the last couple of weeks is that it's completely unbelievable that Cole has been stuck at Strong's house for two weeks. And not in an unbelievable but still funny way, either. Unless they're going to go all Misery and lock Cole in a bedroom before cutting off his foot or something, it doesn't work.

It'd be funnier if Cole had his surgery and Strong showed up at his house to nurse him better and keep him company. Cole would be too nice to kick Roddy out.
