To keep the golden legacy of John Johnson alive for future generations. True story, Roman Reigns watched the archives over and over before he became the Tribal Chief to make sure he’d have as dominant a reign.

Once I did a Fire Pro Wrestling World league with the characters.
That's the only thing I have to add.

Season 1 was tremendous. Season 2 had its moments but the quality was definitely much lower. I shudder to think of what season 3 would have looked like. Maybe it would have been set in the early 90s during the height of the occupation gimmick ?
But yeah it was just something fun for the wrestlers to do to make some content.

WWE 2K20 basically did season 3 of this with one of the DLC packs. It gave a lot of the women on the roster GLOW inspired gimmicks.
I liked it. I actually liked that game... About 6 months into its life. When the patches made it playable.

I just know that Ric Flair being a Ric Flair impersonator and reading lines for KFC Georgia Gold with zero emotion was A+ material.

There's no way Vince had anything to do with an affectionate parody of territory era studio wrestling, because he's likely barely ever watched territory era studio wrestling. Given how much it pissed all over the territory era, he 100% was involved. f*** Southpaw, it was the type of unfunny, insulting bullshit that Vince loves to trash the old days with. I don't see it shitting on the territory days at all . It might have poked fun at some of the silliness of territory days, like giving the title to a guy that wasn't going anywhere. It didn't have a lol all wrestling was like this before the great WWE showed up messaging, it was this organization is a disorganized mess.

It all came from a place of love and appreciation. Someone who flat out hated that stuff wouldn't have been able to do such an apt parody.

This was the moment where many of us slightly unironically realized Rusev was that guy.

I'll also add if Vince was involved in this in any way, we'd all f***ing know it. Especially considering Vince once spent around 10-20 minutes of TV time mocking a bad Stan Kroenke impersonator and ruined the sympathy earned from a Raw booking being changed. 99% of times, when Vince booking is funny, it's unitentional.

Vince not involved, Southpaw Wrestling Vince involved, Camp WWE It’s still weird to me that Vince was the best thing about Camp WWE. Especially what he ended up saying on that show. Like, how does that even work?

Like, how does that even work? There was like a visible Vince stench cloud hovering over my tablet as I watched every episode. It was like too weird to like , yet to weird to hate. Brilliant.
