Roxanne is being broken down to rise again - she works better as an underdog than perpetually on top. She has credibility they can give to others by beating her. They just had a long reign with Bronn, I don't think the plan was ever to hold it longer than when Tif won it. Nah she’s been mishandled pretty bad. It’s not even like they had her lose thr belt straight up. They did that dumb anxiety gimmick (which has not been mentioned in months BTW) and then it was a ladder match. If that was the story, then she should have actually been beaten for the title. Honestly while NXT is very fun overall, it does feel like it maybe has too many people on the roster. There’s a lot of talent that start off hot, but then just kind of cool off because NXT doesn’t have room to push them. What you're saying is NXT needs a third hour! |

They had a legit medical concern with her which is why she vacated it - after review it wasn't far from the storyline reason. I just don't see it as mishandling, which is usually just a euphemism for "booking different from what I'd do". She isn't any less over or credible which is when I'd be concerned. |
