AEW has been in existence for 4 plus years now with different AEW World Champions.
Which run was your favorite? I like Jon Moxley first run personally. Second is Kenny Omega.

Kenny’s. Mox’s reigns have all felt underwhelming, 100% because of reasons beyond his control. But he’s a dude who should have a legendary reign to his name, so is Hanger.

This is tough. MJF because he's my favourite and for me he's delivering. Hangman because the buildup to his win is my favourite AEW story to date. But for actual quality of reign start to finish it's probably Kenny

That said, the first Moxley reign was great, especially putting into consideration the circumstances when it happened. Being a world champion during the days of Covid lockdowns is no small feat.

The first three reigns (Jericho, Moxley, Omega) were all perfectly booked. Hard to pick one but gun to my head, Omega.
MJF's run is inching it's way up there for me, and yes I know I'm way in the minority there.

Gotta be CM Punk's second reign.

I have a soft spot for Hangman's run.
His story leading up to FINALLY vanquishing Kenny is one of my favorite wrestling storylines ever, and he had some banger matches with Archer, Adam Cole, Danielson, Moxley etc.
I really hate being so sour about one person, but I honestly think CM Punk derailed Adam Page HARD and he's just now starting to come out of it.

Omega. I liked his variety of challengers, and his heel character was amazing.

In terms of story? Kenny because it was a lot of great matches, it elevated Hangman to a new level, and made the belt the center of the show.
In terms of matches? Hangman. I don't think people realize how many good matches he had as champ. The two Danielson matches, the Archer Texas Death Match, the 2 Cole matches. Very good first reign

Has to be Kenny for me but it should have been Hangman. Still can't believe how poorly they did Hangman's entire run.

Jericho was my favorite. The Cody and Mox feuds were top notch. Belt Collector Kenny would be a close second. Mox & Hangman I liked their chase for the belts better. Indifferent on Punk I don’t think he needed the belt and every time he had the title it just did not click.

I have to say Hangman Page only because like 95% of Omega's reign was when I took a hiatus from AEW

Kenny's, IMO.
And the most insane part is that despite the length of his reign, there are still tons of people he didn't work with. He could have a second reign with an entirely new list of challengers and he wouldn't be as broken down, either (hopefully)

Kenny's. It was the one reign I consistently enjoyed from storylines to matches.

Jericho. AEW was new and it was must see. I’d have Picked Mox’s first run if it weren’t for the pandemic.

Moxley in his 2022 reigns felt like the man in a way I'm not really sure anyone has, even belt collector Kenny. For worst, MJF thankfully is finally doing actual TV matches now instead of a promo a week while his opponents go through the ringer garbage he had been doing for so long so hey maybe he can finally overcome that.

Hangman's was probably my fave for the catharsis of him winning, and some banger matches, though wish it had a better ending. Kenny's was a fantastic heel run, though.
