Per Brandon Thurston: The 2nd quarter-hour of last Friday's Smackdown; which was the middle of the Reigns, Sikoa, Usos segment, and had no ads; averaged more than 3 million viewers and a 0.94 P18-49 demo rating (1.23M viewers 18-49).
As for the rest of the show, it drew a 2.5 and averaged .76 in the 18-49 demo.
So yeah, I personally think at this point they made the right business call keeping the belt on Roman. At least for now. Nuts.

You get a hot angle/storyline and characters, you run with all of it. That is your biggest draw.

Roman Reigns sitting at home watching The Last Dance in early 2020 might be one of the most important events in wrestling of the last 10 years

Hard to argue with the amount of time that these dudes get when the story is good and it’s drawing the biggest numbers in forever.

HHH and co. had to have massive guts to keep the title on Roman through Mania, and it turned out to be the best decision possible. Hats off to them.

Relative to the time it's happening, Tribal Chief Roman and The Bloodline has to be right up there with the biggest drawing wrestling characters/angles of all time. Crazy numbers.

Wow that’s insane. 3+ million viewers for that segment. Plus I think the demo overall is the highest in over 3 years (except for that episode that followed an NFL game).

I mean, I Personally would have put the title on Cody, but it's kinda hard to argue their decision at the moment

With the ammount of time dedicated and effort put into this entire Bloodline angle this is what they should be expecting out of their segments because nothing else and no one else comes even close to having this much dedicated to their stuff.
Hey WWE..there is an underlying lesson here...how about giving the rest of the roster this much effort and having ALL your segments draw quarter hours like this just saying.

Roman Reigns is starting to rise up the ranks of the biggest draws in history, you would have to think. Crazy to think about when we consider how the audience didn’t really take to his original face push.

Roman is eventually going to turn face to wind his career down and dude is going to finally get that monster face pop that Vince tried to force all of those times.

Can you imagine what type of numbers WWE will do if they convince The Rock to work Wrestlemania 40?

Even I was in the group that thought the segment went way too long and seemed to throw off the balance of the rest of the show
But when it doesn't hurt the number, and actively increases it, hard to argue with results
Roman's never losing these damn titles though, we're in purgatory lol

A Rock vs. Roman program would obviously do the biggest numbers ever, but I'm dreading the f*** out of it.

Roman Reigns literally outdrew a teenage basketball borzoi showcasing great fundamentals and a very suspect jumper
