It's almost flawless from the start.
- All ppv range from good to great - The 1st Mania in history to have received two 5 stars and one of the best women's matches in history - Rollins world champion after 4 years without having won anything - Asuka dethroning Bianca - The fall of the Bloodline really well done - An ideal mr and miss MITB
If the 2nd half of the year is of this quality, I see very few years in WWE that could compete with this one whether in terms of booking, storylines, quality of ppv / matches!

It's definitely the best year in 10 years, I'll say that. From Summerslam to Summerslam. If only Gomez (Vince) would stop interfering.

Should have been three 5 stars matches at Mania, honestly. But it's been a great year thus far, the only relatively meh part was the build to Backlash where Roman took time off and both shows just had Solo/whoever main events with inevitable Usos interference.

If you're under 25 years old...probably
Not the best for me. They cooled down Sami too much for my liking

Big deal. Wake me up when they have a 6 star match. Or a 7 star match. Or even a match with 5 and 1/4 stars.

Most enjoyable period of time for me since probably Royal Rumble 08- Backlash 09

Not flawless as there are always nitpicks. The big ones for me are still Cody not winning the belt (disappointing as a fan, but has certainly proven to be the best decision from a business standpoint) and this new "World" title. But the big picture is: good storylines, great in-ring action and all coming together in a run of quality PPVs that often exceed expectations.

It's one of their better years. Overall the PPVs/PLEs are on track to be one of their best strings of events in history although I think they've had years where the weekly TV was a good bit better. It's not bad right now but I think it can often be a little dull.

IMO, not great by any means but certainly better than the past several years have been.

It's probably the most that I've actively enjoyed WWE as a viewer since I was still too young to understand why Kane supposedly couldn't feel pain but had a Charlotte Bobcats win/loss record

nope --- I'm clearly in the minority of casual viewers, and maybe here on FAN, judging by the crazy 3 million viewers for Bloodline same old shit and nothing changes part 23,049 segment from last week
there has been a logic end point for The Bloodline and Roman's reign of staleness in 2023 to end at both Cody at Wrestlemania and Sami at Elimination Chamber

I loved most of 2016 but having one of the worst Wrestlemanias ever is definitely a mark against it.

Creatively, I think it's been OK. Raw and SD are fine if skippable most weeks, the PPVs are usually good and it's cool that they have several people who are massively over right now.

lol, if this thread was made right after mania ended. I know right, lol. Even though I wasn't as down on the company as many here was, I never expected WWE to be killing it like they currently are.

It’s been one of their strongest continuous runs of PPVs in a long time, for sure. Weekly TV could use a bit of adjustment but all the pieces to make it are there.

Despite the ending to WM night 2 souring a lot of people (I was annoyed by it, but I was in the “let’s see where this goes” camp” so far this is one of their stronger years to date, creativity and financially. I would even say 2022 was pretty solid overall to imo

Overall, the year, I’d rank somewhere with the best since 2012, but I could lower it to 2002 because of the strength of the main eventers scene and PLE’s. lol, if this thread was made right after mania ended. Even as devastated as I was, and I fricken was, I knew it was because I was seriously invested. Anytime WWE does that it’s a fricken win.

It is way better than usual but there’s far too many weeks where the shows are really boring besides nxt.
