Even with some booking blunders like in WM Night 2's main event, it's still better than 2017.

I’ll give them this, so far all of their PPVs/PLEs either been really good or great besides the weirdness of night 2 of mania. Has there been a year in a company where every PPV was good? I’m drawing a blank.

It’s really hot period of WWE and that can’t be disputed, but no it doesn’t compare to the attitude era /Monday night wars, which imo has been a double edged sword for the pro wrestling business, in that all wrestling since is compared unfairly to that era and for a number of reasons it’s not a fair comparison.

I’ll give them this, so far all of their PPVs/PLEs either been really good or great besides the weirdness of night 2 of mania. Has there been a year in a company where every PPV was good? I’m drawing a blank. NXT/AEW have probably had years when every PPV/Takeover was good but that's usually around 4-6 a year. I'm not sure any company running monthly PPVs has ever had a year when every single one was almost unanimously considered good. Even the best years usually have one or two weak points. 2000 PPVs were mostly great but somehow Wrestlemania was arguably the weakest. KOTR/Survivor Series I don't think were all that good either that year.. 2002 also had a lot of great PPVs but it also had No Way Out which I thought was a terrible show. If the final 3-4 PPVs of 2023 are good they might do it this year because I think every PPV this year has been at least good with a few classic ones. Summerslam will likely deliver based on the card and I'd expect Survivor Series too if they do war games again. Payback/Fastlane might be the tougher ones depending on the card. It might be hard to get excited for regular US arena PPVs after a year mostly full of either stadium or international shows.
