Eh, he had the longest North American title reign to date as it was, unless you wanted to pointlessly have him hang onto it for another three months to get to a year he was due to lose it.

I do think there is a valid argument in how long that Dom should have the title for (hopefully not long if his performance last night was any indication), because otherwise we are going to be running into misery booking, except replace Bloodline with Judgement Day. I'm very much in the camp that while the Judgement Day is fine right now, it won't take much for them to get into Bloodline neverending heat levels of awful at this rate. Especially since they aren't even bothering to portray ANYONE as a threat to Rhea.

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't keep the belt on Dominik for long. He's the kind of character who benefits from having been champion but doesn't need a long or remarkable reign to get longterm mileage out of it.

As for Rhea, yeah, I don't know how you solve that one. Her being champion is pretty much entirely secondary anyway, and I don't really know how you reinvigorate interest in the division when Liv is the only other woman on Raw people even kind of care about.

Even then more often than not, they still stand tall at the end of it all. Last Monday was more of an exception rather than the norm. The heels constantly winning and never facing true setbacks is not great booking.

Dom absolutely does not need a long title reign, nor should he get it if what we saw last night was what we are going to get from him going forward. I would also go as far to say that Finn and Priest should lose their title match and cash ins as well. Judgement Day as a group is more interesting when there is tension within the group, not when they are dominating everyone and making everyone else look like geeks. We do not need every member of Judgement Day holding a title and/or the MITB briefcase for a lengthy reign.

Not a huge fan of Dom, but hey credit where credit is due he's getting good reactions and a title in NXT is the best way to keep developing. Can't say he hasn't earned a shot

I like Dom but he didn't need this and I'm struggling to understand the trend of heel wrestlers being cheered and celebrated for winning titles and money in the bank recently.Chelsea and Sonya are heels,Judgement day are heels,Iyo skye is a heel etc yet crowds and fans are cheering their victories as if a beloved hero has won when their characters are unlikable fan hating baddies.

Two things:

1. People just like seeing stuff happen
2. The post-hard kayfabe world where the fanbase is more likely to be happy for the real people being validated for their hard work than angry at the fictional characters they portray
