Think of all of the weird porno magazines the FBI probably found in his closet.

What is even the most likely outcome. Vince gets a big fine and maybe is forced to relinquish his duties(which he is probably going to do in a year or so anyways)?

Yeah. CNBC is reporting this is due to the hush money payments, not his connections to Trump. The feds likely would have been probing Linda over Vince if it involved the stuff against Trump. Especially since Linda was part of his cabinet. Because by all reports, Vince and Linda are estranged and have been for a long while now. And Vince's connections to Trump that involves elections (note I'm explicitly only mentioning him and not Linda) from what we know is just donating to his campaign, and visiting him at the White House for a terrible photo op. I don't think the connections go much deeper than that. To be fair, Trump has been close to both of them over the years. I'm not sure CNBC has the whole story. It's rather interesting that WWE is served with a search warrant on July 17 and, the very next day, a former high-ranking government official is sent a letter advising them that they are now a target of a federal investigation. If the two are related (and CNBC could be right after all), what the FBI found at WWE HQ was some damning info indeed. Pretty much CNBC and WWE have no reason to lie about it (and WWE has said to investors it had to do with his hush money stuff). You are reading into the Trump stuff a bit too deeply there and trying to leap to the conclusion that they must be connected somehow.

Nonetheless, the timeframe is a bit too tight not to speculate that there might be a connection. Companies have mislead shareholders or omitted information about similar matters before. Let's not pretend that WWE has been absolutely above board throughout its history.

Just wanted to say, I find it amusing that Reuters used this photo of Vince for its story:

It's a PR black eye, but I doubt it goes anywhere. It's the same stuff as before, and he's already been internally cleared. Endeavour wont care, they dont care about all the crap Dana White does, and have already written in to his contract they could ditch him for cause if he does anything like he did AGAIN. Granted if the Feds mind more things it may sour things, but right now, this is due diligence. Funny stuff, but unlikely to turn in to much unless it gets political. I wouldn't trust the internal investigation as far as I could throw it. Dude came back in the middle of it with a gun to the company's head, which led to multiple board members critical of him stepping down instantly. How seriously the feds take this, we don't know yet, but he did actually do the thing he's accused of. With Vince throwing his majority ownership around and saying he'd sink the company by vetoing any deals if he's not brought back, believing that internal investigation is massively naive.

I never said I believed it, I said they did it and did nowt about it. The whys are an irrelevance unless the Feds find something else and/or it get politicised. The abhorrent things he allegedly did aren't being investigated here, just the financial irregularities, which he came clean about and repaid. Given that was before the takeover, and so Endeavour are aware and seemingly not interested in caring, and given so far this appears to just be a due diligence investigation, I don't feel there is any more here at the moment for anyone to be getting excited about. That absolutely could change, you could even go so far as to say it should change - I just dont think it will change.

A lawsuit was dismissed recently against Vince and others by a former writer. Appears the suit directed at WWE as an entity is still on going.

Without prejudice= She has the option to file it again in the future if she wants to. Just since I know sometimes I've seen people confused about the distinction, mostly elsewhere but still.
