I find it surreal that the Usos have been a team for THIRTEEN YEARS and they now break up.

This is par for the course with the Bloodline stuff, unfortunately. Individual moments of greatness hampered by filler, backpedaling, and teases to get us to the next Big Four show where something happens, rinse, repeat.
It actually astounds me how some folks think this is award-worthy television when it's the same bad WWE "creative" it's always been.

You see what you have done WWE? no Madcap Moss matches for months, it leads to Jimmy attacking Jey, this never would have happened if Madcap Moss was in the battle royal

I’ve been commenting “f*** Jimmy Uso” for years and nobody listened. f*** Jimmy Uso R-Truth tried to warn us. We should have listened.

I too have enjoyed moments of it. But this is not some epic tale for the ages any more than any other wrestling storyline. It’s a bunch of stuff happening to move merch and pop ratings and they have no idea where it’s going or when it will end. Most of the heavy hitting emotional story elements come from fans adding more context than has actually been shown or explained.

Roman defends the title even less these days for some reason, so my guess is we get Jimmy vs Jey at the next PLE. If Jimmy keeps seperate from the others, they could even do a triple threat and/or fatal four way with Roman and Solo at some point. It's because Roman has become a part-timer now. He mentioned it in an interview last year. The reason being he wants to prioritize family.

When people want WWE to win an Emmy for this storyline it’s not for the countless filler title defenses that ended with the Nth Bloodline beatdown, it’s for the moments when Roman monologues loudly at an Uso, then holds his head in his hands. Basically people want, like, acting and prestige TV, but in the context of a wrestling show. The actual wrestling matches are almost incidental. At least that’s the vibe I get.

And when you actually analyze the matches themselves as part of the story, wrestling really shows its limitations as a story-telling vehicle. Like where would we be in this saga if these matches had a referee would could stay out of the way and not get knocked unconscious for minutes on end?

I also don't understand how this angle elevates Jey. Sure, you can call him "Main Event", but what use is he in it if he bottles it every time? Scott Hall said it best - If you are a babyface and don't win, you are f***ed, and WWE has enough faces that are choke artists (looking at you, Drew, Dolph and Shinsuke) It does seem to be a big issue with this title reign: yes, the Usos are now in a higher spot than they were before, but it feels doubtful that either of them are about to fully jump to the main event. Sami gave the whole angle new life after it’d already gotten very old, got over big, but the word is they don’t really view him as a main eventer, so he hasn’t technically been elevated given he’s been an upper midcard player the whole time. Cody will like win at Mania and be solidified as a main eventer, but, uh…what then? Again, it seems doubtful the Usos or Sami will come out of this as big time title contenders, and no one else has come out of facing Roman better off than they were going in. He hasn’t buried people like circa 2003 Triple H, but once there’s a new champ they’re going to need a new slate of top challengers who don’t feel kind of discredited. Gunther, maybe?

Wrestlings not about the wrestling (not trying to reference what’s his f***ing faces video). To some niche, hardcore audiences, yeah. But to the masses, you need something that resonates more.

Shark jumped.
Clearly they're waiting for something (or rather someone) and they've ran out of ideas.

I've been a defender of how long the story has gone on but yeah it really does feel like they've run out of stories now. Reason #72833 why Cody should have won at Mania.

Oh I agree, but for me personally my favorite storylines of the past several years have had more of a wrestling emphasis, or at least more of even blend. Kofimania, Hangman/Omega, MJF/Punk - all of those had memorable promos but were still centered around telling stories via wrestling matches. With the Bloodline story it legit feels like, with a few exceptions, none of the matches have mattered. Like nobody is saying “man I loved the moment where Roman beat Cesaro clean and then Cesaro left the company,” you know?

But Roman’s ( and WWE’s..) bread and butter is with expressions, crowd moments and story.

They've really shit the bed now with the Bloodline storyline. Typical WWE.
Jimmy super kicking Roman at Night of Champions was legit one of the best moments in wrestling history and now they've ruined it just 2 months later.

I think Sami Zayn getting a world title mania event with so much emotional investment from fans and then main eventing a Wrestlemania night counts as elevation to me. Certainly doesn't get that without involvement the bloodline stuff.

Jimmy Uso has been the reason Jey lost in all his matches against Roman makes you wonder if it's always been intentional dating back to COTC 2020
