For years the NCAA had unlimited power and could do whatever they wanted. They could penalize any school for the smallest infraction and look the other way at bigger infractions at other schools and no one could do anything about it. Now that has all changed and the players are going wild transferring and able to make money off their likeness and the NCAA is powerless. The WWE is known to be able to play by their own set of rules, especially when it comes to independent contractors, so do you think that one day through unionizing or legal action the WWE will not have the power it has?

I dunno.
But if you want some fun, look up the video of Brooke Hogan talking about how wrestlers should unionize and then someone says, "You should Google why they didn't" and she does and goes "Oh".

Unionization in WWE is likely never going to happen. It would require the top guys/girls to get on board, which would likely impact their money.
Wrestling in general is notoriously anti-union even when you don't factor Hogan or promoters in.

WWE needs to be much more scared of the ongoing UFC lawsuit that just got certified as a class action suit. Especially when they're merging with UFC. This could seriously effect the profit they make moving forward, not including what they will owe on the case if they lose. This could seriously drive down UFCs value, right before the merge.

Wrestling in general is notoriously anti-union even when you don't factor Hogan or promoters in. that's the long and short of it... there's not a ton of benefit for the top guys to Unionize... (and most likely would effect their bottom line) and without them the union won't have any teeth.

I dont think so.
WWE wont ever think of itself as a true sport, as it isn't. That will mean that a lot of these cases, which involve sporting contracts, wont really impact on WWE.
Someone could try it, but I suspect they would counter that they are not a sport, they are sport's entertainment, and the stars are more akin to actors, though they arent actors either (and I believe previously SAG wouldnt even let them join as just 'wrestlers'), and fall in between in a category all by themselves.
I'd still love to see the legal battle of someone challenging the independent contractor thing and all the things WWE impose alongside that, but as others have said, you'd need someone to do it with clout, and most of the top stars wont rock that boat, and others wont want to risk the blackballing that would come with it.

Did the NCAA concede that much power? Because from what I saw, all they’ve done is allow them to make some money from their image which feels really minimalist.
They still don’t have much of a wage and I’ll say that NIL schemes aren’t exactly there with athletes in mind. Could be wildly off base here.

And as I have said multiple times. WWE aren't the only ones abusing the Internet contractor label and if it were challenged they would likely put more money into the defense to keep the status quo

Wrestling is too selfish a business where I don't think they'd ever really get anywhere unionizing. Didn't help at all that the last serious push for it was started by David Starr who is not only a massive prick, but a sex pest.
