It was like a WWE show when they are at the top of their game, lots of storytelling, rushed matches, a trainwreck gimmick match, comedy segments, beatdowns, and PPV build/hype. I'll go for an 8. It really did feel like an attitude era episode of RAW or Smackdown

With all due respect I swear sometimes either I’m watching a completely different show than some of you or my brain is wired completely different in terms of the Prizm I view this stuff through.
•The chainsaw match was shit in all the best ways….
•Joker Sting!
•Brochachos!
•MJF shootin in the best possible way
•The continued amazingness of a revitalized Juice Robinson
….4 years on I am still constantly entertained by AEW.
Not even the muffin shaped cloud that hangs over everything these days dampens my spirits.
(I’ll climb off my soapbox now)

A 3 or 4 I guess. I liked the OC/Yuta opener and segment stuff a decnet. And then I liked the Sting/Nana moment while the death match sure was something of a spectacle. Don't think I liked a single other thing on the show. Way too many heel beatdowns on this show followed by face saves, multiple fakeouts of attacks...starting to see more and more why Tony waits to book stuff because he has absolutely no idea how to fill these gaps. I think the beatdowns made total sense as well as the saves, added plenty to the storylines given and sets up likely plenty of stuff next week too I think the opening one did, but outside of that I don't really think any of them were necessary or interesting. The Jericho stuff especially was incredibly bad and completely illogical conclusion to almost 2 months of build.

7/10:
OC vs. Yuta was very good.
Kenny getting his ass kicked and JR just being mildly bored was funny.
The Callis/Jericho segment was fine, but went on a bit too long.
The Chainsaw Match was, well it was something alright.
Britt vs. Bunny was solid. But I wish they hadn’t made this tournament so incredibly predictable from moment one.
The ME was fun.

I still thought the conclusion made sense, in the end Callis is his own worst enemy and planned it too hard and didn't expect Jericho to actually agree with his past ties and such He planned all the way ahead to Ospreay and was genuinely shocked someone didn't see him as the piece of shit he proved he is lol

3. Outside of Sting the show was horrible , Imo. You always think the show is horrible it feels like I watch Dynamite for Sting and Britt ( and because I'm off Tuesday and Wednesdays, NXT and Dynamite are the only shows I get to watch live ) and if I think the rest of the show was bad, I'll rate it as such. And if i think it's good, I'll rate it better then.

Takeshita is just a background character to Don Callis and it f***ing sucks. I also don't think that way of doing the story is good at all. Just doing a stupid painting reveal to get to Ospreay instead of Ospreay interrupting and saying he wants a match was dumb. I don't think any of this is good at all, explanations or whatever he damned.

I just didn't think the show was awful outside of him either, but that's opinions

I saw a clip of Joker Sting from the show.
10/10.
Totally not biased.

Takeshita's getting a Wembley match and is the focus of Kenny, he'll be fine imo I also thought Will coming out of nowhere and being Don's hidden blade worked, as did the promo Jericho had afterwards, it's a match two years in the making and I hope they kill it.

But the entire point is that this angle was supposed to lift Takeshita yet he may be even somehow less of a focus than he was. Kenny wanting to talk about him only for the show to repeatedly make it about Callis was a bitter point to it. And since he turned about 3 months ago, he's only really had 2 matches where he has gotten to show anything. One was the great Bandido match, and the other the 10 man tag where he was just one of ten guys. When his best skill is that he's an incredible in ring talent and you instead just do endless talking angles with Don Callis, that dilutes what you're going for in the first place. I just don't see how this is not literally another Heyman/Cesaro thing.

6 out of 10 or only slightly better than an average Pro Wrestling show, IMHO.

I give it a 10. It was the first Dynamite I've watched in a few weeks, and it was just crazy, stupid fun.

3. Except for the opening match and the MJF-Cole stuff, it was a clusterf*** of a show. That Texas Chainsaw match was godawful, and Karen Jarrett makes Vickie Guerrero look like Bobby Heenan. Every segment seemed to have a beatdown and a run-in, which has been par for the course on Dynamite. It just seems like a show Tony wrote after a coke binge.

All of the stuff built to Wembley though, even if you didn't like the beatdowns it all lead to something for next week or for the PPV itself Chainsaw match was what it was but Karen Jarrett is better than Vickie Guerrero, one she's much more of a non entity but also just y'know Vickie Guerrero is a colossal piece of shit lol

Look it's fine if you do slow burns, I get it. But it has to be GOOD along the way. The point of a slow burn is to make you excited to see where this goes and grips you along the way, not you screaming just end this garbage at the screen. This is still a wrestling company last I checked, since it's their whole we are better than the WWE because of that. The fact that we could be seeing 12 minute Takeshita matches every week instead of Callis droning on and on and on is so annoying.

Probably a five or six. I tuned out a lot. Some really good stuff throughout but it felt like either a show that was trying to promote All In on steroids, or experimental.
I get some wwe allusions some are making.

Pretty wild show
Most of it was great but goddamn I hated that Texas Chain Saw Massacre match. Woof.
