I disagree with the Lost finale being on there, though I understand it’s a polarizing episode.

In a world where wrestling matters Katie Vick would be on the list. Aha, you started a new rabbit hole... How about: Anything Owen Hart Incident. The Chris Benoit tribute show. The WCW world title woes of 2000.

With Police Squad and freaks and geeks we're their ratings good enough to justify the quality? Pretty sure freaks wasn't but I know that they f***ed with the schedule It originally aired at 7pm central Saturday nights. So in a dead slot. Then got moved to 7pm central Mondays. Lasted 2 episodes, got pulled. Replaced with a game show that lasted 2 or 3 episodes. Rumor is it got pulled cause of complaints after Choking and tokening aired. NBC brought it back for a one night airing of 3 unaired episodes, when the show was nominated ffor a pile of awards. That was late May 2000. Leaving Kim Kelly is my Friend unaired until it hit Fox Family. It was f***ed with from the start.NBC knew putting it on Saturdays at 7pm was not gonna get an audience. The old folks that are home at that time aren't going to watch. And people my age weren't home. I set my VCR and recorded it each week. Still got those tapes sitting in a box. But really now I am happy it got one season. Chances are if it lasted longer it would have majorly slid in quality.

The cancellation of Police Squad! because people had to actually pay attention. The Zuckers have actually said that they were running out of ideas anyway, so only lasting 6 episodes was actually a GOOD thing. They could have put Ted Turner's Cable Music Channel on this list as well, a one-month attempt at trying to compete with MTV that failed miserably: Wow, with this and Black Saturday, 1984 wasnt a very good year for Ted, was it?

Some Maury Povitch hosted one. 21 maybe? This was when Millionaire was a huge hit and every network was trying to follow that trend. So the best shhow of the past 50 years gets yanked for another shitty game. One that is forgotten.

4 is only a mistake because Macdonald should have been fired way earlier for the horrific comments he made about Brandon Teena (that somehow later became a meme used by people who have no idea of the original awful context).

No Kid town or whatever it was?
Where they left kids basically unsupervised to run a town and it went as well as you'd imagine...
including them accidentally drinking bleach...

I mean I get why he wasn't fired for that since the times... but yeah that's pretty messed up.

Kinda surprised cancelling Family Guy isn't on there at some point. Granted Fox undid that once they saw the numbers from the DVD sales but that was a pretty big blunder considering how much they're still milking that show.

At the time it wasn't seen as that big of a blunder. The show didn't really find it's audience until DVD's and Adult Swim Also some of the early episodes were rough, I remember the first episode being massively panned when it first aired.

It faced a lot of the same issues as several other shows at the time. Its time slot was changed multiple times, it was constantly preempted for sports. Back in the day I was an active fan of the show and had difficulty figuring out when it was on, despite seeking it out. The dvd sales showed that I was far from the only person in that situation.
I'm not saying the show was amazing, I haven't watched it much since the first revival season, but at the time it was huge among teenagers like myself. We just couldn't find the damn thing to support it.

Kid Nation Imagine if that was a thing today with social media more orevalent than it was when Kid Nation first aired in 2006.
