Yeah, that was a terrible line. Kevin Kelly was awful throughout the entire show, but that line was in its own category of awful.

I have no strong opinion either way on what they should do, but 'do the match at Wembley but have him lose' as though that's some sort of punishment, is insane to me. It's scripted entertainment, the money and the spot are the rewards. If Marvel tried to justify keeping Jonathan Majors because Kang loses in the end they'd be ridiculed. "We don't have to change our plans, keep our high profile match, he keeps his money and gets a prominent spot on the card BUT loses a fake fight... deal?" Who says he needs to get paid in wembly? They can slap him with a fat ass fine as well. Hit him where it hurts |

More like he loses, drops the belts in a way that's just not fading off of TV and them vacating another championship, and then he goes off TV, suspended, etc I think if the match is happening that's their plan if Cash can go to England, essentially doing the match and then going to hopefully get the help he needs We're talking about him pulling a gun on someone and (in your words) requiring professional help. How does worrying about vacating a belt even come into consideration, or delaying things a week for that matter? Either they're taking it seriously and act now, or they crack on and let the police process play out. It's not an easy call and I wouldn't neccessarily kill them either way. But if they do let things run beyond Wembley, nobody can seriously make out they are doing it for any other reasons than completely self-serving ones. |

I don't envy having to make these decisions so close to a show. Dude put them in the worst possible situation The last person I remember f***ing up this bad in lead up to a big match was Hager getting busted for weed like 2 weeks before his Mania title shot against Del Rio The irony of his opponent being Alberto Del Coke-head of all people is amazing. |

So I could absolutely be wrong but to me AEW fans and anyone attending AEW shows is almost by necessity more connected than a WWE fan... It's certainly a double edge sword because it can be seen that AEW caters to that demographic only but it also makes for a much more personal product... With that said If they do not know before they go they would likely find out before FTR even came out due to the sheer size of that crowd... |

Are you genuinely under the impression that's what people mean? Like, say the match gets called off. He's still tag champion. If you strip him of the titles, that punishes Dax, who hasn't done anything wrong, along with the Bucks. If he loses the titles, he is no longer champion and misses out on future big matches, but the others aren't missing one of the biggest shows of their career because he was a dumbf***. Like, it's not complicated, honestly. |

I mean if you need a gimmick punishment for FTR...  Though tbh I'd rather see actual consequences for y'know, casually threatening to murder someone during road rage. I've always wondered what this gimmick would have been like if they actually went through with it, what would be the explanation for why they're wearing the outfits? what would their new theme sound like? |

I'd agree usually but FTR definitely strike me as the type that hate losing scripted matches, especially for titles. |

With him missing, I would go with Wardlow, dude has history with FTR as part of The Pinnacle. |
