I don't envy having to make these decisions so close to a show. Dude put them in the worst possible situation The last person I remember f***ing up this bad in lead up to a big match was Hager getting busted for weed like 2 weeks before his Mania title shot against Del Rio It's so interesting to think back to that story because a dude getting busted for weed would be such a non-story these days.

I think they should RVD 2006 them. Have them do the job at Wembly and then Cash gets some sort of mental health treatment and hopefully comes back a better person Rob lost the WWE and ECW titles on Free TV, one day after the other then suspended him for 30 days. WWE didn't wait to have him drop the titles at Summerslam. I also doubt that pulling out a gun has anything to do with the mental health of Hair FTR. More likely he decided to be a twat that day.

I have no strong opinion either way on what they should do, but 'do the match at Wembley but have him lose' as though that's some sort of punishment, is insane to me.
It's scripted entertainment, the money and the spot are the rewards. If Marvel tried to justify keeping Jonathan Majors because Kang loses in the end they'd be ridiculed.
"We don't have to change our plans, keep our high profile match, he keeps his money and gets a prominent spot on the card BUT loses a fake fight... deal?"

The tickets are sold and the show has other big matches on it. The match should just be called off, f*** this, "Let's give him a payday and then maybe concern ourselves with it, possibly, probably not," nonsense. Donate the money he would have gotten for the match to the Binky the Clown show.

More like he loses, drops the belts in a way that's just not fading off of TV and them vacating another championship, and then he goes off TV, suspended, etc I think if the match is happening that's their plan if Cash can go to England, essentially doing the match and then going to hopefully get the help he needs

I really don't like the idea of losing a match being used as an actual punishment, because it implies that losing a match, ie something that happens to at least half of all wrestlers booked on any given show in any given promotion, is ACTUALLY a punishment, when it f***in' isn't. It's hard enough getting people to disassociate from that idea as it is without actively reinforcing it.

I dont see it as the actual punishment, I see it as if he does it and loses, them just having FTR lose instead of the match poofing and titles vacating again and it being another mess like that, I can see it from that angle, if that is in fact the plan, if not, then yeesh But what I would think, if the match happens, is FTR loses, and then Cash is suspended/taken off TV for anger management and what have you. Losing the match itself isn't so much the punishment, it'd be getting from point A to B to then logically remove him from TV other than just yanking him away Maybe they even film an injury angle or something with Bullet Club Gold too idk

Hager wasn't just busted for Marijuana, he was also charged with a DUI, so it would still be serious. It was even worse knowing that the previous year Dutch Mantel lost his granddaughter after a road accident in which the driver of the other vehicle (who died in the crash) had drugs in his system.

Literally salivating at the thought of all the chants Cash is going to get at Wembley.
At least the first portion of the match is going to be one big 80k shitpost

Yeah... They really should've just vacated the titles last night, then announced a battle royal or something for Dynamite, with the winners facing the Bucks at All In. Aside from the obvious grossness of having him get a payday for this show, they can't be certain Cash will even be allowed to leave the country. I love AEW, but this is such a clown shoes move, if the match goes on.

You have to think differently when punishing FTR. Moving them away from Punk and have them join Garcia and embrace his dancing gimmick would be much more fitting.

I mean if you need a gimmick punishment for FTR... Though tbh I'd rather see actual consequences for y'know, casually threatening to murder someone during road rage.

Cash is given the ultimate punishment by AEW... ...adopting the Dr. Seuss gimmick once pitched to him and Dax by WWE. Edit: Ninja'd. Damn.

Clearly AEW will replace FTR with "the Featured Attraction" J. Fatu and 'the TV-G Superstar" Ed G. Phoenix!

Lose at Wembley, then announce Cash will be suspended for 30 days at least, and his paycheck will be donated to charity(like when they suspended Sammy, Caster)

Imagine if he hit a pothole while pointing the gun, the gun went off and he killed someone.
Or the rage in his hand causes a twitch and he pulls the trigger just slightly more and he kills someone.
He genuinely came so, so, SOOOOOOO close to killing someone in the absolute most preventable way possible.
