We got a flash flood warning in Las Vegas, which is maddening to think that a Tropical Storm is hitting the desert.

My wife has been talking about it all day. I don’t think it’s gonna end up being anything crazy, thus I’m not taking any extra precautions. She seems to be annoyed by that.

For a very dry mountainous area like SoCal, I imagine the biggest issue will be mudslides. The winds are also going to create havoc with your power lines.

My wife: **gives me the glare of death** I mean, there isn't a whole lot you can do except make sure you're stocked up on batteries and non-perishable food. And make sure what you can charge is charged to full because any power outages could last awhile. |

No power outages here in the Palm Springs area save for some homes in Mecca and Thermal and only two inches of rain expected.
The hurricane got downgraded overnight.
My son and I filled over thirty sandbags….all for nothing. lol
