The endings of both Telltale Walking Dead Season 1 and Season 4, gutwrenching and uplifting in equal parts.

FFXV.
I know the story is a jumbled mess, but despite that, I really grew to love the characters so the ending got me. Then I played the DLC (especially the Ignis one) and it got worse.

An obscure little gem called Final Fantasy Tactics.

No joke, but I teared up a bit *twice* playing Super Mario Odyssey. During the Jump Up Superstar bit and during the montage that plays before the final “escape” towards the end of the game.
Both were such great acknowledgements by Nintendo of the history Mario, a series that I’ve been playing literally since I was in preschool.

What I'm learning here is no one who's posted in this thread so far has played What Remains of Edith Finch.

I think The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening was the first game that made me feel really sad when I was a kid. I was not prepared for the ending (even when so many characters tried).

Telltale's Walking Dead Season 1 Death Stranding Red Dead Redemption, minus the epilogue
Think the one that got me the hardest was the high honor ending of Red Dead Redemption 2. Still can't hear Unshaken without choking up a bit.

The more time passes, the more I get misty over the end of Super Mario 64. Just that song over the game footage brings back the feeling of wonder I had for experiencing a 3D game for the first time.

The endings of both Telltale Walking Dead Season 1 and Season 4, gutwrenching and uplifting in equal parts. Not 2 & 3?
