Another "perk": this proves WWE wouldn't be afraid of rehiring CM Punk, if they take back other toxic people.
Edit: now that I think of it, I'm not surprised. Look at all the second chances Ahmed Johnson and Mabel/Viscera got.

I'm not one to typically pull the age card, especially in an era where older talents are doing such great work, but Jax is almost 40. Realistically, given her knees, questionable skills, and lack of interest in improving herself, what are you really going to get out of her? I'm not seeing a PCO like renaissance coming from a woman who had a fairly defined ceiling in what can generously be described as "her prime". I think it's fair to pull the age card when you consider that all the older talents doing great work have always done great work. Mickie James has five years on Nia and hasn't lost a step, but her peak was so much higher than Nia's. AJ Styles is as good as he's ever been, but he's been one of the best for over a decade now. Nia peaked at mediocre and only got worse when she blew her knees out. There's a reason the chant is always "you STILL got it" and never "you FINALLY got it".

I was busy doing something else and only listening to RAW in the background. When someone interfered and Cole sold it before saying the name I thought “no way this delivers” then they announced the name and in no way did it deliver

I'm sure the other women wrestlers are just thrilled about the prospect of working with Nia Jax with ring rust. A Nia Jax rustier than a tin can on a beach.

Not that I want anyone getting hurt at all, but Nia's gonna get her clock cleaned if she doesn't stop injuring people.
With Rousey gone, I don't think the WWE women's division has any Brock-types who can/will give you a love tap to make you pay attention and work smarter, but you can only be at the center of so many injuries so many times before SOMEONE calls you out on it.

Nah, just like I thought she did lose weight. There's articles and everything about it. This was a few months ago. She looks exactly as big as she did when she left, she may have gained weight and lost it in the interim, but that’s the same Nia that left. Nah, she did lose some weight. Yeah she's still big but you can see she's lost some. It's not like she went from Rikishi to Jimmy Uso lol. She just went from "wow she's crazy huge" to "wow she's still big but I can see she's lost some weight." This isn't about her in-ring work, promos or how "good" she is for the company but it's an observation.

Since it’s been popping up on Twitter, it’s still baffling to me that not only did Charlotte and Nia shoot in the ring for no contextual reason and not only did nobody seemingly get punished for those events happening, they decided the best course of action was to have a rematch the very next week on television.
Like…could we imagine if that happened in literally any other promotion and how many mud show comments would go to them for the rest of time? This happened in the biggest company of its kind in the world!

There are a decent number of women in WWE who have some sort of MMA/jiu-jitsu training and could easily give Nia a receipt. Just on RAW alone you have Shayna Baszler.

Opposite of a mud show, unless they then started shooting again the following week. They seem to be friends too.

At least she's on RAW, if this had been SD they would have thrown her into the Bloodline.

Erm, being unsafe could be toxic physically to a lot of people.

It's gotta be a combo of keeping Dwayne happy and Vince finding the "My hole!!!" line hilarious(admittedly that was a great line).

I think she’s well liked backstage so that shows the women are more patient than the men as if a man injured his co-workers so much you know guys like Roman and KO would be in Hunter’s office demanding the Kennedy treatment for the poor sap.
They obviously like Rhea to give her such a push but giving her a program with Nia Jax might be a rib for her moaning about the Summerslam card and making her engagement public while in a romance angle. It is carnies still backstage. Rhea certainly didn’t enjoy working with Nia at the Rumble.

Rhea finally getting laid out to end a segment, but it’s Nia f***ing Jax who does it is a real monkey’s paw moment. At this point we should probably stop whoever keeps lopping off the hands of all these monkeys to keep this shit from happening. I have been assured that the monkeys were already terminal anyway.
