Punk is a commentator for Cage Fury Fighting Championships, which is owned by UFC/TKO. People keep saying he will never work for this company, well he already does.
No idea how this impacts a potential no compete or how WWE brass see him.

Listen, I know why the Scrum Threads were locked and all... but do we really need multiple CM Punk threads now for the most trivial of information?
We literally have a Nick Khan thread where he already essentially shut this down... we don't really need this one?

Interesting, didn't know that. Don't want it but I won't be surprised if they can make something happen.

Does the UFC actually own CFFC or does it just have its shows on UFC's streaming service? UFC Fight Pass airs cards from some smaller MMA promotions, the same way WWE Network and Peacock airs the German indy promotion WXW.

I mean, it is different from the FOX deal because there's an actual association with the company but it sort of means not much in the long term. Like, it's not like being a commentator for the CFFC gets you a first class ticket to be a part of anything else the company does.
It was funny when people were trying to imply Punk was working for WWE in doing WWE Backstage, though. Like, by that logic, Shaq, Charles and Kenny all work for the NBA because they do Inside the NBA which...just isn't how that works. They'd be terrible employees if that were the case.

Looking things up and unless I'm looking up the wrong things, seems like the latter. So I might just end up locking this thread until someone tells me otherwise.
