Idk man I feel like I saw a ton of users here constantly say her in ring work still needed a lot of work, but her presence was there I don't really blame them for easing her in, you obviously couldn't bank on her potentially leaving to WWE, especially if she'd given no indication until recently she wanted to. Don't really think they did anything wrong with how they built her, the reactions to her show it seems to have been working too. That's not really an excuse for the Taya feud, though. Plus if you really believe she's green, why was she so often out there wrestling other green stars instead of people who are more experienced and can get more out of her? Like why did she never wrestle Emi Sakura, who is the exact perfect example of that? It's weird because some of her best matches actually were with the greener talents. That Anna Jay match sticks out. Not excusing the Taya feud as a whole though, I'm more saying they, I thought, treated her very much like a star, a future women's world champion

Literally a week ago she said how happy she was in AEW and how great of a person Tony was. Yeah this is very sudden. SRS said they didn't hear anything of an OFFICIAL offer but people within AEW believe she wants to go to WWE So it's come out of left field.

You know, unfortunate, but if it's what she feels is right for her, good on her.

It was odd that Jade as TBS Champion was in her own little world away from the rest of the Women's Division in AEW. Like I said before, I think Statlander abducting Soho to stop her from interfering in the tag match a bit ago was the closest we've gotten between the TBS Champion and the World Women's Champion.
As for Jade in WWE if she goes (also if she keeps her current name)...is it odd for me to want interactions with her and Bianca Belair? Maybe start them out as a team, then one turns on the other (possible Jade on Bianca) to have a rivalry? Would give Jade a chance to learn from a relative veteran and keep Bianca out of either of the singles Women's title pictures for a while.

She probably won’t get it but I think that se needs a lot of time at the PC/NXT. She’s in that Lex Luger category where she looks like a million dollars but something is missing, and is riding on potential more than anything currently.

Really glad they wasted a year and a half on her now. They didn't waste anything. She was someone you clearly invest time and effort into to make a star, and that's what you do with someone like this. They didn't make her a world champion out the gate, they were building her up She literally said she wouldn't want to be anywhere else other than AEW like... literally yesterday, so something had to have changed in the 11th hour, as there was no indication AEW would be losing her as a talent In any case it's not like she beat everyone in the division and then just left, in the end AEW proved to be smart in that sense, they made her strong but in the end she put someone else over in Statlander that earned it.

I’d also say he should’ve given her more solid feuds the whole way through instead of mostly number padding for most of it. AEW looks goofy as hell for this one and they’re gonna hear it for a while if it is true

For things to change this much in a week, it has to be down to money.

This'd be an absolute coup of a signing for New York if it's true. Not quite all there right now, but massive future potential.

I wish she'd put Taya over on the way out, and I wish at some point AEW would have pulled the trigger on Jade vs Britt as that was the biggest women's division match they could have possibly done but never did.
That said, no ill will towards her and I wish her the best and look forward to seeing whatever she does.

Tony really shouldn't have done her big return last week if he didn't already have her signed to a new deal....

Wow, this one would surprise me. I can't even take it as fact or likely fact, I'm still doubtful about it.
As has often been said, Jade has a fantastic look and presence, but after early improvements her work seemed to have stagnated. In part due to way too many filler feuds and being in her own little TBS Title world.
Yet she seems more than happy in AEW, just had the comeback, and there definitely seemed too be some unfinished business and big potential bouts there.
I guess the plus points for WWE would be a change of scenery, going against their top workers, probably a large contract, and the enticement of the WWE promotional machine behind her including for her outside-the-ring ambitions.
Still, I would be surprised to see it happen.

I heard that she's just considering going to a WWE house show in the future.
