Yes I did. I felt his injury robbed him of a proper run as the top guy and this was a chance to make it right. They could have also put right their royal rumble mistake of the previous year.
As a surprise entrant at that rumble it could have been an epic moment. And - as he proved later - he and Brock could have tore the house down.
It all worked out I suppose as Reigns v Brock was better than anyone thought, the Seth cash in was a great moment and also Bryan going down injured again straight after would have robbed him of run with the belt again anyway. But at the time I definitely wanted him to main event WM31.

I'd like to point out this was right after they killed the shit out of Ziggler for the crime of not being Roman, so we wanted him.

Yep. I still think would've booked WM 31:
Bryan vs Brock Seth vs Orton HHH vs Reigns Undertaker vs Sting
Have Rollins cash in on Bryan the next night for heat.

No matter who main evented, I still firmly believe that the ending to that year's Mania is the right call. Seth cashing in and winning the belt is as good as it gets.
That was an epic moment that I will fondly look back on.
....but also one that frustrates me because why the hell couldn't they do this with Ziggler?

Honestly it wouldn’t have mattered to me in the end. I still would have shut the show off after Sting vs HHH anyways.

I think the first MITB cash in being in the main event of mania was fitting. If ziggler did it, it would of been the middle of the show and overshadowed by Cena/Rock

Yes, I wanted Daniel Bryan vs. Brock at WrestleMania 31. It was a perfect story, and Bryan was really over.
