I flat-out cannot imagine giving this show a 1. If you’re a fan of pro wrestling, saw that Danielson/ZSJ match, and still gave it the lowest possible rating, there’s no pleasing you. I've not seen the show yet, planning to later, so this isn't a quality judgment, but I do utterly loathe this kind of post. Your opinion isn't objective and someone can be a fan of something without liking the same things about it you do.

I couldn't love this show more. Definitely a 10. Honestly, I feel like this is the show they should have done for All In. ZSJ/Dragon and Swerve/Hangman are easily 5 star matches. The 6 man, Main Event and FTR/Aussie Open are close to 5 star. Just an all around almost perfect show. Drop Yuta/Starks, move Claudio/Barnett up and it's perfect.

Also, the poll being flipped f***ed with me for a good minute. I thought I was having a stroke as to why there was a handful of post and barely any top ratings despite the thread being ultra positive

Didn't order purely because I need to save money badly, but will definitely check out a replay at some point.

This was f***ing tremendous, 10/10.
Also 3 Adams. If they ever have a triple threat, the crowd is gonna be insufferable.

So between No Mercy and Wrestledream, a great weekend for quality wrestling?

9. I really enjoyed the show a lot. AEW needs to trim these shows down by just a bit.

Loved: Swerve vs. Hangman (crowd made this one extra awesome) ZSJ vs. AmDrag (could watch them wrestle for hours) The Main Event (fantastic storytelling even if the heel turn and debut could be seen from space, the way the match was laid out worked)
Alright: ROH Tag Title Match (even tho I do like face MJF I thought it made The Righteous look dumb AF) Eddie vs. Shibata (I've never really liked Shibata) Statlander vs. Hart (I wanted Julia to win even tho I knew she wouldn't, strong match tho) 4 Way Tag Match (was surprised the Bucks won, my only incorrect prediction all night) Omega/Jericho/Ibushi vs. Don Callis Family (My favorite of the "alright" section)
Didn't care for: Ricky vs. Wheels (Felt like a Rampage match on a PPV) FTR vs. Aussie Open (the match itself was great, but I'm over FTR being champs so I'm being a prude)
8.5 on paper, 8 for the poll.
I'll go back and watch my favorite matches on mute. Commentary not shutting the f*** up during crowd reactions/cool moments continues to ruin moments for me. Esp during ZSJ vs. Danielson.

9/10.
There were some botches and scary spots (Christian slamming Darby on the steel steps from the apron), and I would have liked another women's match on the main card, but this was still a tremendous show.
Danielson/ZSJ was the technical masterpiece I expected, and Swerve getting a PPV win in his home state was nice. Give him the AEW World title.
I marked when Copeland came out to "Metalingus".

Il go for 9. Starks v Yuta & the tag title match were the only matches I wasn’t that invested in. And even those had mad Mox commentary and a decent if not spectacular tag match. So invested in whatever MJF does. Shibata v Kingston was incredible. Julia v Stat was fantastic. 2 out of 3 falls was engaging despite being tired by that point and obviously the finish. The 6 man was highly enjoyable too. Swerve v Hangman was epic and Danielson v Sabre was pretty much everything I wanted.

It exceeded expectations, might be one of the best ppvs this year.

Very easy 10. There were a couple of iffy bits, they didn't really need the video package before Copeland's (that's going to take some getting used to) music hit and there were botches here and there but absolutely nothing glaring enough to overshadow an absolutely incredible array of matches and amazing moments all over the place. And they delivered what the majority wanted at the end and got the decision right keeping the title on Christian. I loved lots of little moments in the 6 man tag like Jericho and Ibushi doing the pose and Danielson lifting Aubrey's hand to a big pop after his match too. Just an outstanding show.
It's been an incredible year of PPVs, Revolution was one of my absolute favourite PPVs ever after it happened, I absolutely adored it, and now it's potentially not in my top 3 AEW PPV's of the year.

8. Was a fun show but some of it was way too overbooked including the finish of the main and the tag team scramble...The ref work was exceptionally bad on not calling shoulders down or ring counts inside and out (tag and single)...Absolutely hate that the AEW refs do not call it as they see it instead of going off planned spots.
ZSJR and Danielson was enough alone for the buy.
I also fear Christian taking a backseat to Adam Copeland but either way it will be interesting

It's a 9/10, an incredible PPV, full of great matches and moments, including a huge debut (biggest one since the Cole/Danielson double whammy to end All Out 2021 imo) and yet, I still think it's the 5th best PPV AEW have done this year lol, the bar is so ridiculously high for them.
Match of the Night Danielson/ZSJ, closely followed by Swerve/Hangman.
Little long (no need for that 4 way tag and the MJF stuff is purely house show material at this stage, sorry) and FTR/Aussie Open fell well short of expectations (their match last year in NJPW was one of my favourites of the whole year) so I'm not going perfect 10/10, but it was incredible.

I started the show late and only saw a few of the matches before tiredness beat me, but man what I saw was really good. Swerve/Page and Bryan/ZSJ, just awesome. I'm sure I'll catch the last hour at some point. 9

I've not seen the show yet, planning to later, so this isn't a quality judgment, but I do utterly loathe this kind of post. Your opinion isn't objective and someone can be a fan of something without liking the same things about it you do. Then let me clarify. Rating this show a 1 is basically saying this was the worst a wrestling show could possible be. Maccabiah Mania or “elderly Nikolai Volkoff wrestling in a high school gym with no ring” levels of bad, because as a 1, there can be no worse. There’s no denying that the company and the wrestlers pulled out all the stops for this show. No one has to say it was perfect, but there are exactly two reasons someone would vote this show the worst possible rating - either they want to lower the score out of spite and tribalism, or they genuinely hated it that much. In either case, I’d say stop watching this company, because nothing AEW can do will please you.
