Another theory that I saw brought up online about what's happening is that this could be "Timeless" Toni playing the character of Classic Toni. That's why she's acting like she doesn't work there, and why she went for the Timeless pose only to switch into the horns.

Yeah I take back everything I said when she came back, this feels like absolutely the right move, Toni playing almost a parody of her old self is gold and the road back to being Timeless will be amazing if that's the plan. Really looking forward to seeing where all this goes.
