It's October, the most crisp autumn month where the temps are just right for fright. To kick off the Halloween month in a very appropriate way, NFL Thursday Night Football Challenge has the Bears on short rest!
(Seriously though, looking like a rough week in our nation's capitol for Da Bears. Commanders licking their chops, getting ready to bite. Like a dog.)
Something that's actually scary though: BYE WEEKS! They hath begun, so set your fantasy football teams accordingly.
All times EST.
Thursday, October 5 8:15 PM Chicago Bears @ Washington Commanders
Sunday, October 8 9:30 AM Jacksonville Jaguars vs Buffalo Bills in London, England
Sunday, October 8 1:00 PM Baltimore Ravens @ Pittsburgh Steelers New Orleans Saints @ New England Patriots Houston Texans @ Atlanta Falcons Carolina Panthers @ Detroit Lions New York Giants @ Miami Dolphins Tennessee Titans @ Indianapolis Colts
Sunday, October 8 slightly after 4:00 PM Cincinnati Bengals @ Arizona Cardinals Philadelphia Eagles @ Los Angeles Rams New York Jets @ Denver Broncos Kansas City Chiefs @ Minnesota Vikings
Sunday, October 8 8:20 PM Dallas Cowboys @ San Francisco 49ers
Monday, October 9 8:15 PM Green Bay Packers @ Las Vegas Raiders
BYE WEEK: Cleveland Browns Los Angeles Chargers Seattle Seahawks Tampa Bay Buccaneers

If Jacksonville loves London so much, why don't they marry it?

The Bears are so bad, I don't know if I've felt this sorry for a whole-ass team before. They can't even win at home with a huge lead.

Thursday night game so either Washington is going annihilate the Bears or find a way to lose to them because theyβre famous for this.

I hope the broadcast leans into how shit the Bears/Commanders game is tonight. Might as well let the announcers drink so the broadcast could be semi exciting.
Imagine being a company that paid to advertise during this game.

Imagine being a company that paid to advertise during this game. Al Michaels has the play-by-play tonight on Prime, and he's never held back from editorializing when he's watching bad football, so I wouldn't expect him to stop now. Also, for what it's worth, I don't think the Commanders are a bad team. I don't think they're a good team, necessarily, but they're 2-2 and they just pushed the defending NFC Champions to overtime. There are clearly much worse teams in the NFL.

If teams give them chances like the eagles did last week they showed they donβt need to asked twice to take them. and my first TNF game where I can fully watch it live this season and Iβd say in a least a couple of years and itβs the bears and the commanders. Great.

Commanders main problem is that Howell is still getting on the job training, so when he has a bad game theyβre atrocious. If he plays well they should smoke the Bears but if he has an off night all bets are off.

Justin Fields has greatness in him. It doesnβt always manifest, but itβs there. I really hope he can sustain this. Because Iβd love for him to be in Chicago for the next decade.
