TBS f***ed them over hard but it isn't like it was a great show or anything

Well Edge wasn’t the issue, judging by the quarterly hour ratings.

Anecdotally: I have Fios, and I was watching baseball and hockey up until 8pm, at which point I switched to TBS. When I did, it said Big Bang Theory was on, and then Young Sheldon. I had no clue what was happening, but eventually I started fast forwarding and it turns out my TBS feed was an hour behind where it was supposed to be.
I experimented and tried switching back to baseball for a moment, then changed back to TBS...and promptly got sent back in time an hour again. If I hadn't thought to check the fast forward button, I would've just assumed that Dynamite had been canceled for the night or something, but then I saw people here and elsewhere commenting on the opening of the show and knew there had to be a screw up.

It seems that all anybody wishes to talk about this week is the one they once called Edge, which is fitting, for they discuss and debate and prattle on while unaware they stand on the edge. The edge of the cliff. An edge carved into the very stone of the earth that sits patient and waiting across the span of millennia and seismic shifts for the moment that finally they may fall over it instead and plunge into the abyssal crevice from which they shall never emerge. Go on and discuss your foolish trifle, I wish a spirited and animated argument, for when AEW finally takes that damning step into ruin, I shall be there to laugh and to revel.

For what it's worth, TSN apparently reported that Dynamite had its highest viewership in a while, and that it actually beat this week's Smackdown in the demos.
So Edge is a draw in Canada, at least.

Yeah, TBS really screwed the pooch last night. Between that and playoff baseball, things were going to take a hit.

Also the 18-49 average was 0.28. Can a mod or OP edit that into the first post because that's a important piece of info?

TBS didn't list them right and they went up against multiple MLB Wildcard games
I'd say this was a good rating with the competition and Turner botching shit involved.

He drew the highest numbers and demo of the night in a show up against baseball and Turner's botched listings. I'd say we still know him.

Glad to read that I was the only one with DVR issues (Dish Network). I wish TBS would give them another run, even if say after Rampage or Collision so it could at least be DVR'd.

This makes next week look, not promising vs. NXT head to head. especially considering it's less than this weeks total viewers already (demo higher)

800,000 viewers (source: Wrestlenomics) That’s..surprising. Not a disaster but certainly a surprise. AEW has really good shows, but ultimately feuds/conflict draw in wrestling and since the end of the Kenny/Page feud, the main events have been a bit predictable and not overly exciting. MJF feuding with a fairly unknown tag team is not a draw. I also think AEW has a habit of going with guys who the mainstream audience does not really know. Like, we all love Penta, but the interactions he draws on social media is not exactly the best, yet he dominates the TV space week after week. I was at a bar that occasionally shows wrestling and they had it on to start and when Copeland did not start the show, the owner changed the channel (yes he did this before the backstage segment) Orange Cassidy has like 6/10 highest viewed IG and YouTube videos if anyone is wondering.

I dont blame AEW being angry at TBS fking up specially considering next week its a huge week for them(vs a beyond stacked NXT card)
