"What up Mach?" was pretty badass.
Bret Hart's last WCW theme was his best theme...ever.

Wade Barrett has never at any point had a bad theme in WWE. Now that is controversial, if just because of that Just Don't Care Anymore theme. Should have never dropped the End of Days theme, though. I ride for "Just Don't Care Anymore." Happy to serve this thread some actual Hot Takes and Sausage.

Happy to serve this thread some actual Hot Takes and Sausage. "Just Don't Care Anymore" is like one of the 4 actual wrestling themes on my music player (out of over 8600). Then again, with my tastes, that might be proof that it's terrible :/

The second version of Just Close Your Eyes isn't as good as the first, but it probably works more as a face theme than the original one does.

Rock's 2003 theme was great, but the first time he used it at No Way Out is the best version given the elaborate opening. Unfortunately, it's never been released in this form.
Maybe it's absence makes the heart grow fonder, but Orton's Burn in My Light is one of those themes I hated when it was around, but really like it now.

I’m actually surprised that Angle’s 2006 WWECW theme gets a lot of hate nowadays, I remember it being pretty popular back when he was using it.
Speaking of WWECW, Sandman’s generic “we don’t want to shell out for Enter Sandman” theme was actually pretty darn good I thought.

What's wrong with them? Everything is shown in the original aspect ratio. the black bars bother me, so I crop them out. I've gone through 2001-2006 and am finishing 2007 probably by the end of next month. It was mainly to fix the themes in my personal little library, but when I figured out how to crop the videos I jumped on it. My goal is to have one of those little raspberry pi's running on an old CRT with these old shows. this take also isn't hot, but none of the def rebel songs are good imo. Is there a way for the bars to not be there while also not messing up the picture? I watch on a 16:9 screen, so the black bars are needed to show the original 4:3 image the way it was meant to be seen. On documentaries, WWE zooms in on 4:3 footage so that it becomes 16:9, and it looks awful.

Goldust's remixed theme for "The Artist formerly known as Goldust" was catchy in a rather odd way to go with how bizarre the character had gotten. Sure, the original theme was better but I didn't mind the remix, especially with the intro.

Not a theme per se, but....
The WrestleMania 6 intro is not the same without Howard's countdown edited out.

I didn't realize until some time later that his "Higher Brain Pattern" theme had lyrics. I thought it was just noise. BTW, the rap version of "My Time" wasn't bad. It just didn't fit Triple H. My hot take: Ric Flair's 1992 WWF theme was his best one. Ric Flair's 1992 WWF theme SLAPS. I'm not sure why they didn't use the theme to 2001 (probably copyright), but that theme he had in 1992 was even better. The only thing that I would change is having Ric come out after the drums ended instead of during it.

"What up Mach?" was pretty badass. Bret Hart's last WCW theme was his best theme...ever. Agreed on both, and they both fit the eras of said wrestlers. My hot take: Top Mutoh themes 1) Muta Concerto 2) Trans Magic 3) HOLD OUT

While I like her theme in TJPW, Yuka Sakazaki's short lived AEW theme is a treasure.

Whilst my EVIL take in the other thread was a misfire, I still stand by that his entrance music is one of the best in a major promotion today.

"My Time" is better than "The Game". I say this as someone who loves both themes. Also prefer "619" to "Booyaka 619". Actually agree with you about "My Time".

I still listen to "All American Boys" (Rougeau Brothers) every once in awhile. It's catchy. That and Jive Soul Bro. I love them.
