This is what happens when a son of a billionaire, who has never been told 'no' in his life, doesn't have things go all his own way.
Thank god he doesn't get this upset everytime Fulham lose or he would have been sectioned by now. (Note: joke about how shit Fulham are, not a comment on TK's mental health before anyone tries for that).
It's all a bit bizarre, but most of all I'm not sure how wise it is to take shots at two of the most respected people in the history of the business. There are plenty of people in his own company who will be friends with Taker & Cena and plenty more who look up to them. That's not even mentioning the fact that the shot was 1: Inaccurate and 2:Could be thrown straight back in his face about Edge, Bryan and a half dozen others.
I can't imagine the stress he's under, I gained a dozen grey hairs everyday and all I did was promote a local indy, but man, just put the phone down. Take a holiday, or something.

Wrestling fan says something stupid on Twitter. Billionaire says something stupid on Twitter. Owner of major company says something stupid. Twitter user says something stupid on Twitter.
We've reached the point this major news.
And I laugh at some of you saying you want AEW to succeed when you spend more time rushing to post every negative thing you can and stir up more shit than should be possible. You spend more time calling TK and crew racist, sexist, creativity broke, borderline pedophilic idiots than you do actually watching the shows.

Stories like this are very funny, because taken at face value, CM Punk seems to be blissfully unaware that he's CM Punk. On the topic of the tweets: on the one hand, yes, it's unprofessional as hell and he really needed to stop while he was behind. On the other hand, I've seen TK's replies. Literally any time he tries to promote AEW on Twitter in any way, shape, or form, he gets absolutely bombarded in the quotes and replies by E-drones who pay for checkmarks that have nothing better to do than to tell him "your show sucks, I hate you, I hope WWE runs you out of business". After a while, I'd probably just start shitposting, too.

CM Punk did NOT try to say it's the kind of thing he is glad to be away off. Dude is the king of petulant and passive aggressive social posting. Glass house and al Remember this cat took shots at Hangman when they weren't feuding, said "The apology must be as loud and as public as the disrespect" and apologized via text to Hangman. He also bitched about part timers getting big spots on cards and went to UFC and immediately got a ppv fight with no combat sports experience. It's right up Punk's alley.

It’s common for people to discuss criticism/negative stories much more than just posting about what they like, which is seemingly what’s being talked about. It always seems a dangerous game to try to pinpoint on a respectable forum like this one that posters are making bad faith arguments. This isn’t Twitter.

And they are only WWE fans and to an obnoxious degree they treat ANYTHING that isn’t WWE as “bush league” or “lesser.” And, as someone who has not great stalker in the “war” if even I find it annoying at times, then I can imagine what the owner of the other company must think of it.

TK said something stupid but it stays in rotation because the same three people would rather find and keep bad shit on top than anything else. These same people then claim to love AEW. Then these same people talk about how they don't like anything about AEW and insult everything about it. Oh but they love the company anger don't dare question it. It's bullshit from the same three or four people.

So let’s ignore everything somewhat negative and only discuss what we like? It's one thing to discuss things you're not fond of as they happen. But when 90% of some posters' comments on the board are just negativity, it begs the question of why you still either post or watch the product. And before anyone gets on my case about "gatekeeping" or "toxic positivity", I have seen this exact argument, on more than one occasion, be used against cjb over on the WWE board. He'd post about stuff he didn't like about the show, and other posters (some of whom have posted in this very thread) would say "why are you still watching if you hate the show so much? Why are you still posting on the WWE board instead of Wrest?" And then get on his case for being too positive over here. I don't think we shouldn't ever speak negatively about the product. I just don't think we should spend every single thread doomposting, especially when we're jumping on other posters on other boards for their negativity.

I don't think people wanting more POC focus in the main event scene or wanting a decent women's division is calling TK racist or sexist. I've never once seen anyone suggest TK is a pedophile though? Where on earth has that come from? People naturally talk more about negative subjects as there is more to talk about and people want to put across their own views on whatever subject and how they would like things different. You can't have a 15 page discussion on 'great show' 'enjoyed that angle'. There's not much left to say. (Basically what polarbearpete said, didn't read your post until after 😂)

Tony's gradually turning into a corn cob before our eyes.
Also yes, there's 100% bad faith trolls who post here regularly, it's made this particular board miserable to engage in.

It always seems a dangerous game to try to pinpoint on a respectable forum like this one that posters are making bad faith arguments. This isn’t Twitter. Truthfully if we are being honest he likely means myself and my twitter posts within this thread if what I am picking up is accurate or maybe I can relate to a few things he said besides the extreme nasty towards the end. As for me I have said it in the past here but I have never been a rah-rah guy for anything...The pacers/basketball forum I post on as well can attest. It equates to a fist pump if your team wins and a thesis if they lose... As for consumption I don't watch every minute of any shows...I grew into a habit for a very long time of only reading wrestling results and reacting off of them or the headlines and still do that when necessary. I have spent likely over a thousand at this points on figures, belts, and shows on AEW merchandise so I don't necessarily feel like I wear a jersey for any team really. Truthfully it read like it's personal and honestly if it's is I really am sorry you feel that way about myself or anyone else here. Any of my past personal grievances have always centered around having the right to both blurt my stupid opinion and also not be constantly quoted or misconstrued for doing so. I have never asked for friends here or attempted to make them and that's been a common theme (fault) in my life but this idea that we are trying to just disrupt things by not veiling up is frustrating as well as the same hyperbole happens truly everywhere else in this forum. It's just dunking on Tony Khan of all people and if we can't talk about the guy at the top what can we talk about seriously? in better news I did post a picture of my son dressed up like MJF for picture day in the post your pic thread...so yeah take it for what you will

Seconded Been here since the Boards inception and there are absolutely posters here who only either focus or conflate the negatives, or try and drum up drama about anything negative happening in AEW and then dip This is obviously not talking about everyone who has an issue with AEW or legitimate criticism, but to say this doesn't happen in the AEW board constantly or that we're talking about "All AEW criticism bad" is extremely disingenuous. I literally in this very thread just a few pages ago got someone someone calling Khan "My Messiah". This shit happens a lot, and not just to me.
