End of Days was indeed way protected but yeah, I think KOD is the topper now. With wrestling's tendency to go for the finisher kickout barrage (which I don't like) in matches these days, it's hard to protect anything. Outside of WWE, I think only one person has kicked out of Kenny Omega's One Winged Angel and that was over a decade ago. I still don't think anyone has kicked out of Bad Luck Fale's Bad Luck Fall. Yeah, to my knowledge, it's just Ibushi. One of the Bucks kicked out of the One Winged Angel I think when Hangman Page hit it on them, but that's obviously not the same as someone doing it to Omega's. |

The Last Ride? I’m pretty sure HBK kicked out of it at one of their Mania matches but other than that I’m not sure. Last Ride rarely ended the match post-2004. I can only think of it beating Nunzio and Rey. |

I imagine there would be loads of lower down guys who weren't big deals who's finisher wasn't worth kicking out of

One of my issues with Kurt Angle's work post-2003 was how he completely devalued both the Angle Slam and Ankle Lock and never got another finisher to fill the gap. Even the grapevine Ankle Lock, which was supposed to be his big move, became just a "regular" finisher before he left WWE.

One of my issues with Kurt Angle's work post-2003 was how he completely devalued both the Angle Slam and Ankle Lock and never got another finisher to fill the gap. Even the grapevine Ankle Lock, which was supposed to be his big move, became just a "regular" finisher before he left WWE. Kind of like all of Jericho's finishers from WCW to WWE (Judas Effect I think still is up there). He's still relatively new in bigger company terms, but Carmelo Hayes' finisher I think hasn't been kicked out of when hit. |

to my knowledge, Hall and Nash both REALLY protected their finishers. I don't recall anyone ever kicking out of the Jackknife.

I think Taker did at Mania (I'd swear he took 3), I'd guess Goldberg and/or Hogan did in WCW but I'm not sure there. Don't remember seeing any kick out of the Razor's Edge. |
