So I read somewhere awhile ago that Razor Ramon's Razor's Edge was only kicked on ONE time in his WWE career. It was against Crush when he was still heel sometime between 1992 and 1993.
With that said, that has to be the highest rate of a finisher being successful plus the rate of it being protected as finisher.
Which other finishers had such a high success rate of putting their opponent away as well as being super protected and not weakened over the years?
I'm pretty sure no one kicked out of the Tombstone until Kane showed up, so that had a long streak of being a protected finisher.

I think McIntyre at WM is the only person to kick out of End of Days (unless it happened in NXT recently).

The Clothesline from Hell has got to be up there. Batista and I think Cena have kicked out of it, but just about no one else, right? Pedigree has had a few people kick out, but considering its length of being around, it's very, very few. (Ultimate Warrior did not kick out of it, he was just never pinned, so nope, does not count. )

I think Bianca Belair's KOD has a 100% success rate.
The figure 8 is very protected.
Cena's Lightning Fist also has a 100% success rate.

Because Scott Hall's random quote pop in my mind: "Dudley Boyz, great finisher, CAN'T WAIT to kick out of it!"
Did anyone kick out of the 3D in WWE or even ECW for that matter?
I don't remember this move weakening out at all in WWE.

RVD's Five Star Frog Splash was pretty well protected. Brock is the only one I can recall who kicked out of it.

In recent years it's definitely the KOD as the most protected move in the company.
The Figure 8 is funny in that it's almost always successful in singles matches (Ronda broke it at WM 38, and Bayley broke it back in 2014 when it debuted) but often spells defeat for Charlotte in multi-woman matches.

The Last Ride? I’m pretty sure HBK kicked out of it at one of their Mania matches but other than that I’m not sure.

I don't remember this move weakening out at all in WWE. In ECW, Masato Tanaka was the first to kick out of it. Part of his gimmick was his incredible durability, so that's why it was him - I remember Heyman on commentary hyping him as the only person to kick out of the 3D.
In WWE, Sylvain Grenier (sp?) of all people kicked out of it, because someone was supposed to run in and missed their cue.

End of Days was indeed way protected but yeah, I think KOD is the topper now. With wrestling's tendency to go for the finisher kickout barrage (which I don't like) in matches these days, it's hard to protect anything.
Outside of WWE, I think only one person has kicked out of Kenny Omega's One Winged Angel and that was over a decade ago. I still don't think anyone has kicked out of Bad Luck Fale's Bad Luck Fall.

The other thing with the KOD is that it's not even like Bianca's ever had to do it more than once (in a match--she hit it twice on Becky during the WM 38 go-home Raw) or even a modified version, it's just a match-ender. Even the Riptide sometimes needs an Avalanche version to get the win.

I think only Reigns has kicked out of the Helluva Kick yeah, that move was protected like hell for years even when Sami wasnt considered important, the Helluva kick was the end.
