8 figures for The NWA? You're pulling my leg They're probably counting the two digits after the decimal point.

"Haus of Wrestling has also heard of Corgan giving various talents “tests” to see how they react and to prove their loyalty, which has not been well-received. Examples of “tests” were things like making “over” talents who come in to work lose right away, just to see how they react. Or, for Corgan to be overly critical of a talent who has done nothing wrong to see how they take it."
That's a great way to make your roster hate your guts.

I don't know if we needed to find out if a toxic bandleader would also be a toxic wrestling booker but I guess at least we have this case study now.

I can't imagine there being enough interest in nwa ppvs for CW to be inundated with social media comments.
But I'm a bit naive with these things. Is this where people mock the spot on Twitter and feel the need to tag everyone vaguely linked, CW, Jim Cornette, Tony Khan, the people involved etc?

This also comes from CM Punk's minister of information Nick Hausman so he isn't exactly proven to be the most reliable or accurate of writers.

8 figures for The NWA? You're pulling my leg It probably would have just been CW covering the production costs and maybe an ad split. A few years ago, when NXT and AEW were getting new deals, the way the numbers were reported suggested that their yearly production costs were in the tens of millions each.

I still have no idea how the Nwa is actually able to negotiate with networks. Nwa power episodes on youtube only get around 30-60k views.

Corgan knows he f***ed everything up. Karma really bit him in the ass over the Tyrus disaster
I hope talents start to just split from that promotion. Imagine thinking you're getting the break of your career and your boss f***s it up and then tantrums off to his room and acts like it didn't happen
What an asshole, seriously.

Vince McMahon does shit like that but Vince can get away with it because he's the biggest show in town and at least until AEW existed you had nowhere else to go to get more money AND potentially be treated better (and he cooled it a lot on that kind of thing once AEW WAS on the table). If you're only a rung or two above an outlaw mudshow, you don't get to pull the same kind of crap with people.

Aldis with the coldness In the NWA's case, it's into a dumpster fire.

NWA's revival really folded when Lagana got let go
And given Lagana was a creep who was outed in SpeakingOut, maybe they were just destined to fold if they couldn't replace him, and in fact just got worse and worse run by someone who clearly has no f***ing clue what he's doing
NWA's either gonna die with Corgan or get sold off to someone else at this rate, I'd suspect.

Man, what a dumb way to cost a bunch of people a chance to improve their careers.
Well, Saturday's Powerball is like 200 some million and the payout would be over 100 so if I pick the right numbers I could probably purchase the NWA for.... $923.13?

I heard 'Disarm' on Spotify and just thought this is the same dude running a wrestling promotion 30 years later. He was on Kurt Angle's podcast and came off as professional if not very knowledgable. I just think he would be better off giving creative to someone else and sticking to being the money mark. Or selling the whole thing.

Fred Rosser/Darren Young posted in the comment section of a post reporting Hausman’s news about Corgan being bad at his job saying the he would rather retire than ever work for the NWA again.
So yeah I don’t think Mr. Pumpkin inspires much confidence in his workers.

So yeah I don’t think Mr. Pumpkin inspires much confidence in his workers. It's a miracle people actually work for him at all I can get why Tyrus did since he gave him the world but like... when it comes to wrestling talent trying to get exposure, it really feels like it's just a paycheck at this point It's hard to feel any confidence for this brand moving forward.
