Yeah it for sure, they are gone from the CW app when NXT launched. It was like the NWA was just a place holder until NXT starts up for wrestling but than that PPV happened almost a year ago and got reduced for the drug spot. I'm pretty sure the minute WWE entered the picture, it would have been dead regardless. Kinda like how TNN was using ECW as a placeholder for WWF. |

I will say, after NXT got confirmed, CW said they were open to having more wrestling on their channel so part of me thinks that some of the hijinx involved with NWA didn't help their case in keeping them on there somewhat.

Wow, so they didn't even get one full calendar year to be on the app lol. Was anyone even watching it on the app in the first place? Makes you wonder if Twitter is the last stop for them airing shows since they essentially told YouTube and Triller to kick rocks. I figured CW was only allowing them to be there until the WWE started up. You notice they leaving CW the same time as NXT started up. Kind of showing that WWE doesn't share networks with any other wrestling company as it seems. The app I don't know who uses it. Its also of notice while they have tapings coming, that it looks bad using NWA 76 footage as "TV" when it was filmed back in August. While the show itself did well from attendance stand point for the venue. It also of notice it seems they don't do PPVs anymore. Just big events more for the live crowds. Yeah but the NWA was just on their app, they werent on the actual network. That wasn't going to hurt WWE in any way. |
