I mean, durains do smell really bad, but they are tasty.

I mean, durains do smell really bad, but they are tasty. While working in China, I was gifted a bag of Durian hard candy, sort of a Durian flavored Jolly Rancher. They were disgusting.

Maven worked really hard on that. It's hard times for the first tough enough winner!

Someday, I want to try a durian, just to see what the hype is about.

I mean, durains do smell really bad, but they are tasty. I had a durian smoothie once. Had to have been a bastard to make, but it's certainly a taste worth trying out at least once. All things considered, this is probably the best way to enjoy it: it's frozen, which should cut down on the smell, and it's served in individual pints, so nobody else has to deal with the smell to serve it.

Andrew Zimmern is going there destroy all of the existing products just as soon as he destroys all of the SPAM Costco has.

Okay but hear me out, here's an even better way for nobody to have to deal with the smell of durian: don't serve durian. Thank you for coming to SsnakeBite's Cooking Tips. Next week, I'll tell you how to skip all the preparation needed to avoid the smell of Surströmming; I bet you'll never guess what the trick is.
