We've had War Games for a few years now and it replaced the tradition 4 on 4 and 5 on 5 match style.
Which style of Survivor Series match is your preferred match?

Not a big fan of either, but I guess War Games has better action. My problem with War Games is there is always a weak link on the team there to take the fall. They should make War Games into an elimination match to fix that. Or, bring back the "Submit or Surrender" aspect of War Games. The traditional Survivor Series matches are always rushed and always have dumb spots to protect the stronger people from taking pins. So while they are ok in theory, in practice they are never very satisfying.

I think war games is more exciting and a bigger attraction but ideally I'd want both. I don't see why you can't have war games as the main event then a classic elimination match elsewhere on the show.

i've never cared about the traditional survivor series matches even in the slightest but it would feel really wrong to not have at least one, if you're gonna continue to call it survivor series

WarGames should not be an annual match. Look at how WWE watered down the Hell In A Cell by making it an annual PPV. Hell, WCW did the same thing. When WarGames was attached to Fall Brawl, we got matches featuring The Shockmaster, a WarGames to blow off the Dustin Rhodes/Buckhouse Bunk feud, the Dungeon Of Doom, and the Ultimate Warrior's nonsense. Only two matches from that era were worthy of being a WarGames match: WCW VS The nWo in 1996 and The Four Horsemen VS The nWo in 1997. And, even those matches had fake Sting and Mongo respectively.
The Elimination Tag Matches have always been a PPV gimmick, so I say stick with tradition.

I don't care how they do it, I just need to know which brand reigns supreme.

I still like the traditional five on five matches.
No idea why they can't have one or two between the war games tbh.

I like the idea of having a men’s war games match, a women’s war games match, a men’s classic elimination match and a woman’s classic elimination match. Makes the card seem stacked as well as gives it an old school SSeries feel.

If they're not going to do War Games proper, why do it at all?

Toss away both of the match types and just have the return of the World War 3 Battle Royal this month.

I'd like to see War Games, and I think they've advertised it.

I think as presented now, War Games is perfectly fine as an annual gimmick match. As I said before, War Games does not feel like a big deal blow-off becasue it ends when one guy gets pinned. If they bring back the submit or surrender aspect, then War Games would feel like a feud end. Giving up on your team feels more final, even if it's the weak link saying he quits. (or make it elimination so everyone on the losing team is a loser)
Like you could have a hypothetical War Games and it's Hulk Hogan, The Rock, Stone Cold, The Undertaker, and The Z-Man vs The Horseman. Of course Z-Man gets pinned because he is not on the level of the others. That does not feel like The Horseman got the best of the feud. That just feel like Z-Man sucks. War Games is usually like that. There is an established heel faction vs a thrown together group, and if it's 5 on 5, there is another thrown in there guy for the heels. Since it's usually a haphazardly thrown together group, I'm perfectly fine fine with it being annual. "It's War Games season, time to find some partners". Just add some stakes so the winners of War Games get something (title shots, rumble spots, pick their brand for draft...) to make us believe they are willing to go all out to win.
Heck In A Cell is different. It's two guys locked in the cell and one guy has to be the loser. Making that a annual gimmick is a bad idea. It should be reserved for serious grudge matches.
