With how each roster is and how WWE wants to make the brand stand out even more.
Would you like to see 10 men from NXT and 10 women from NXT each year in the Rumble matches?
So that would make the 20 remaining spots go to Raw and Smackdown talent with 10 to each brand.
Thus this would make a rumble spot have more prestige as there is only 10 spots per roster for each gender.

I feel like that could work perfectly fine, but realistically, even 5 NXT entrants in the men's rumble would take some finagling.a
Women's Rumble, it'd be more doable.
Still, it does raise certain questions like who gets the 1 and 30 spot, what brand surprise entrants represent, and if the match should begin with 3 entrants instead of 2 if they were pushing a brand element here.

nah. NXT still pales in comparison to star power of the main roster. A lot of apathy from the crowd if their music hits imo. That's not to say you can't have 2 or 3 guys (Bron, Melo, Trick) but we've seen it in women's rumbles in the past where the crowd doesn't really know who they are.

I feel that's too many spots.
You also need to save a few spots for surprise nostalgia entrants. Those nostalgia entrants are some of my favorite parts of the Rumble.

I'd argue both Rumbles should just be all NXT people.

Way too many. I’d rather have like 5 maybe. Part of the fun of the rumble is the legends they bring in for that. I think last year it was booker T for the men. We know the legends aren’t winning but neither is the 8th or 9th best NXT wrestler. But hey we pop for a legend. I mean come on, we all popped for double J a couple years ago. Bring in Santino this year, cobra a couple people and toss him. And don’t be like, he’s working for TNA cause mickie James was too when she entered last time.

Let's presume Rhea and Iyo both have title matches at the Rumble. And lets just put Biance and Charlotte as their opponents. For the remaining 30, that leaves:
1: Bayley 2: Becky Lynch 3: Asuka 4: Kairi Sane 5: Nia Jax 6: Raquel Rodriguez 7: Chelsea Green 8: Piper Niven 9: Shayna Baszler 10: Zoey Stark 11: Candice LeRae 12: Indi Hartwell 13: Natalya 14: Nikki Cross 15: Tegan Nox 16: Valhalla 17: Xia Li 18: Michin 19: Shotzi 20: Zelina Vega 21: Tamina 22: Liv Morgan (maybe) 23: Maxxine Dupree (maybe) 24: Dakota Kai (maybe) 25: Scarlett (maybe) 26: NXT 1 27: NXT 2 28: NXT 3 29: Surprise 30: Surprise

I think the notable work they've been doing on Raw in particular the last few weeks to make more of the roster matter (the battle royal this week in particular had a NXT feel with a lot of emphasis on individual characters and using the match to push multiple stories) is going to benefit the Rumble.

I think 5 for each is more doable. Certainly for the Women. The men not so much since there’s more to choose on the main roster.
Roxanne, Lyra, Jacy, Gigi, Blair, Tiffany or Thea I can see easily being in the Rumble next year.

Kinda surprised they haven't done a mini tourney, battle royale or multi person match where the winner gets in the Rumble in recent years.
They did it in 2013 with Bo Dallas where i think he won something at the Rumble Axxess. Every other year from then on they just did random surprises.

A couple of ones they want to test out, or feel are hot, sure.
10 - no, far too many.

A surprise Rumble with each entrant more surprising than the last is the way to go!

I would like Axiom to be put in charge of the ROYAL RUMBLE: BY THE NUMBERS segment using his math superpowers.

No. I need some non-NXT surprises. It is my favorite thing about the Rumble.
