I’ve been on this board for 18 years, and I’ve learned many things. One of them is that there isn’t one booking criticism in existence that doesn’t get completely dismissed if it’s to the benefit for one’s favourite talent instead. I feel like the issue with “Super Bianca” isn’t with the concept of one talent effortlessly beating others as a concept, no no no, it’s that it isn’t “Super Iyo” instead. The fact we’re already shitting on the possible babyface turn for Bayley that we’ve been GAGGING FOR for the sheer fact that she’s probably gonna beat Kai, Sane and Asuka to get it over is also insane to me. If this is conduct unbecoming of a mod, so be it, but CHILL THE ACTUAL F*** OUT. Shit’s not real, stop acting like it is. It reminds me of quarter ratings (or just ratings in general). If they are good for people I like, ratings matter, if they are bad for people I like, who cares about ratings? Which is fine people can be biased and hypocritical. I just think it will help people to admit that we are all Bob Holly at heart when regarding booking our favorites "And Bob’s idea was, ‘Hey, I got an idea. How about you give me the belt!’ The follow-up question was, ‘Okay, then what?’ ... ‘Then I beat everybody!’”

It’s funny because prior to this past Smackdown it felt like the modus operandi of Damage Ctrl was to string Bayley along before finally plunging the dagger into her when her usefulness came to an end. But it seems, particularly with the OG 3, that they each have their own motives. Bayley is trying to put on a “brave face” and act like everything’s fine, but we can plainly see how sad and upset she is by being isolated and abandoned by everyone(like in the earlier segment where Bayley was upset that they didn’t bring her along when they confronted Bianca)and is trying to show everyone that she can help and be a contributing member of the faction. However the more she tries, the more they push her away. IYO is very antagonistic and hostile towards Bayley as evidenced by those 2 backstage segments. Demanding to know why she wasn’t with them when they confronted Bianca and then later interrupting Dakota’s conversation with Bayley and ordering her to stay behind. She definitely views Bayley as a liability with her constant refusal to follow orders and get involved. Dakota is the one caught in the middle. In the earlier segment she tried to bridge the gap between both sides by having Bayley come out with Kairi so she can feel like she’s still part of the team. And later when Bayley was acting all mopey and depressed, Dakota went from happily hyping up Kairi to being worried and concerned about Bayley. Even though she did fall-in-line with IYO, she still gave Bayley a reassuring pat on the back of support. So you got Bayley who's trying to show everyone that she can still be a valuable and contributing member of the group; IYO, who views Bayley as a liability and wants to get rid of Bayley; and then there's Dakota who wants to keep Bayley around and is desperately trying to mend the cracks within. It’ll be interesting to see where this all goes because it seems like those 3 are the main actors in this play. The other factors here is Asuka and KAIRI and with that I mean lets go back to when Asuka joined DC , IYO nore KAIRI were aware...so like Asuka has always felt like a bit of a wild card playing along with things. It seems the least likely scenario...but what if Dakota split off with Bayley and KAIRI and Asuka split off back to just being the KABUKI warriors and IYO is left on her own. Again not likely the direction they are going but with all 3 of the OG Dmg Cntrl seemingly in this for different reasons it almost seems like it maybe could be a possibility that we see a faction split off multiple ways instead of just 1 and that would be a first right? a faction that splits multiple ways like that but I am probably wrong on that there had to be atleast 1 in history. I'm trying to think back to the dangerous alliance in WCW. Did they all go their separate ways once they split up?

Seems initially it was a multi way split but then they came back together only to them completely break off for good.

We aren’t really going down this road of “Wrestler is racist for being booked to fake win a fake wrestling match over a wrestler of a racial minority”, are we? Please tell me we’re not, because that’s a fast-track right to nobody taking your opinion in any way seriously. I don't think there is any racism involved here, nor did anyone here actually imply that. Now with that being said, I do see people trying to wave off any criticisms of minority wrestlers (gonna use Bianca as an example here because her fans are much more guilty of this than any other womens wrestler fanbase) by talking about how "you obviously have ulterior motives (racism) if you criticize Bianca" which is uh...nonsense. Its like any sort of criticism towards minorities is immediately countered with "well you are racist if you criticize them". And in literally any sort of criticism regarding Bianca, her fanbase immediately pulls that card. There is no such thing as a perfect wrestler. However, there is a huge difference in how a wrestler should be portrayed than how a wrestler is currently presented. Iyo as an example is someone who SHOULD be on the same level as Rhea or Bianca, but is instead like two levels below them at best in the eyes of WWE. She has the talent and charisma (see her NXT run) but I don't think its a stretch to say WWE booking has failed her right now. If you take house shows out of the equation, she is arguably one of the worst presented champions on the main roster, if not all of WWE right now. And I will be honest here. WWE's track record of pushing Japanese stars is very low effort compared to the people they WANT people to get behind. I am pretty certain if they pushed Iyo (and presented her as just as big of a deal) as hard as they do Charlotte, Bianca, or Rhea, she would be insanely popular. But WWE is too f***ing afraid or is still stuck in the mindset that an ESL speaker can't be a face of a company/brand, despite that being proven more and more wrong each year. Look at Shohei Otani. The dude is one of the most talked about people in baseball today, and is basically a celebrity.

It really is playing out very similar to the Bloodline angle late last year-beginning of this year when you think about it. Bayley is in the “Sami Zayn” role as the outcast of the group, who’s trying to show she’s loyal to the group and trying to aid every member but is basically on borrowed time; IYO is in the “Roman Reigns” role as the leader who use to be close to the former but is now very openly hostile towards Bayley and is slowly ostracizing her from the faction; Dakota is in the “Jey Uso” role as the one stuck in the middle, who’s loyalties are divided as they are very close to both parties. It’s interesting because Dakota is the only one who has any loyalties to Bayley and still cares for her. Like when Bayley was upset about not being with the rest of them when they confronted Bianca, Dakota made the call to have Bayley out there for Kairi’s match later that night; and when Bayley was acting all depressed and upset, Dakota was the only one who was concerned and worried about her.

I think there are two probable scenarios for where this is all heading:
Bianca beats Iyo at the Rumble and that leads to the full on turn against Bayley. Then you get Bianca/Charlotte for the Women's title at Mania and Bayley/Sasha vs. Iyo and Kairi w/Dakota and Asuka at ringside.
or
Bianca/Iyo at Mania and Bayley/Sasha/Charlotte vs. Asuka/Kairi/Dakota in a six woman tag.
It feels like the whole point of the Bayley turn is that she's going to need friends. They could also do something different like bring up Roxanne, I guess.
The long shot would be The Four Horsewomen vs. Damage CTRL, but I feel like they've teased Becky/Rhea enough they probably won't divert from that plan.

I think there is very little chance IYO goes into Wrestlemania as champion. I think IYO's only hope of entering Mania with the belt is if somehow Punk was promised the main event, and HHH thinks Bianca vs Charlotte is too good for a mid-card match and want to save it for another show.
I have no idea where they are going, but I do know that Damage CTRL vs any combo of Horsewoman and/or Bianca is completely uninteresting. We have already seen time and time again that Damage CTRL is not on their level. One of them is able to take out 3 members of Damage CTRL. Even cheating barely helps the Damage CTRL girls. Short of recruiting OP Rhea Ripley into Damage CTRL, or doing some story line where we find out Bianca has been snorting cocaine before all her matches, there is no way to rise Damage CTRL to their level.
I hope the way forward is Damage CTRL having matches with each other. Or, maybe move them over to concentrate on the tag titles. They can Freebird Rule it!

Would not surprised to hear that this entire thing is basically one giant tug of war between creative because that is honestly what it has felt like. Sometimes they have been completely united with no issues Then it is their are cracks and Bayley is the one holding IYO and Dakota back Then it is there are no issues it is a united front again Then their are cracks in the group again with IYO looking like she is coming out as the babyface Then united front again when IYO wins the title.....bypassing MITB when Bayley shoved IYO off the ladder and handcuffed Bayley to Becky (don't think they ever had them confront the other over any of this) Then crown Jewel rolls around and cracks in foundation again with KAIRI return and now the push is Bayley is the one coming out of this babyface instead of looking like it was going to be IYO coming out of Summerslam All while someone shouting very loudly in creative BIANCA HAS TO LOOK STRONGER!!

I'm not sure they'd give Bianca a main event this year over Rhea, TBH. If it's not Punk/Rollins or Punk/Austin, the biggest match in the division they have right now is Becky/Rhea. Charlotte/Bianca's not far behind, but Rhea's been presented on a different level this year. Those four being tied up is why I suspect it'll be something like Bayley/Sasha vs. Damage CTRL at Mania. That's more of a Mania match right now than Asuka/Kairi/Iyo in a three way or some sort of combination tag match.

I can see the Joshi triple threat happening at Mania 41
Because I believe that is the final year of IYO's current contract and KAIRI I believe is signed for 3yrs.
Not saying it is their line of thinking but I can see that being one of the main headline matches to entice IYO to sign a new deal and not head back to STARDOM with KAIRI who would only have a year left on her deal.

KAIRI ate her body weight in pankcakes apparently. And KONAMI should just show up to support Joshi murder squad even for a night as she is technically a freelancer.
