I know IYO spoke about why she wont do the moonstop/her ultra 5 bar MVC finisher but this shows that she could infact do it with the first attempt at the moonsault in which she landed on her feet...if Shayna was just a little more but again she doesn't want to risk her ankle which is whoely understandable and there are probably less than a handful of women that would even be willing to take it on this roster. But that entire sequence from moonsault to the magistral right into the bridging pin then into shayna countering that into the kirifuda and IYO countering that into the stf.

Also for anyone interested here is the Io Vs Shayna match from STARDOM...there is another that is a six woman tag but this is the one for the title.
Shayna has come quite the ways promo wise because she was a HORRIBLE promo back then lol.

So not shocking. Asuka said that she worked the European tour with a hurt knee, and is taking time off to recover. And thanked Dakota and Kairi for helping her do stuff, as she was apparently barely mobile a lot of the time.

Dave in this morning's newsletter said that the tentative plans for Damage CTRL are for them to be feuding with Becky and Lyra. Cool. Great. Wonderful. Another two months or so of them doing nothing but putting over Becky (who doesn't need it, especially after she drops the title) and Lyra.
I'm floored at how WWE can look at Iyo getting some of the strongest reactions in Queen of the Ring, and decide "hey lets feed her to Becky and Lyra". At this point it feels absolutely intentional that they don't want her being over. And only a Daniel Bryan/Kofi Kingston level movement will change their minds otherwise.

Dave in this morning's newsletter said that the tentative plans for Damage CTRL are for them to be feuding with Becky and Lyra this Summer. Cool. Great. Wonderful. Another three months or so of them doing nothing but putting over Becky (who doesn't need it, especially after she drops the title) and Lyra. Gonna take wild swings here. Becky and Dmg Cntrl are gonna interfere in the Lyra Vs IYO match which will cost IYO the match Dmg Cntrl will then cost Lyra the finals and or cost Becky the title at Saudi Dmg Cntrl will lose at Clash Where it goes from there idk

I don't see Damage CTRL showing up at Saudi. I think what happens is that Becky costs Iyo the match on RAW, then they (DC) lose at Clash, probably losing in singles matches before that point as well to Becky and/or Lyra. I am amazed at how Triple H has absolutely fumbled the group, and this is one of the big reasons why I don't think Iyo is signing a new deal. She's been pretty open about how she wants to wrestle often, but also win a lot as well. Something she hasn't had a lot of since being called up. Hell, Kairi moved back to the US from Japan under the pretense that she would be booked better, but even Vince booked her better than Triple H currently is. And it's really not that unrealistic to believe that Becky is likely pushing for Lyra to be built up to be a huge deal backstage, even at the expense of other women who have worked their asses off. Not saying that Becky is going full Hogan here, but I don't think it's a coincidence that Lyra was drafted to the same brand Becky is, who has been nothing but effusive towards her, and Lyra/Becky is likely going to run over all of Damage CTRL over the next month or so. This is why I'm sure next year is going to be interesting, because I'm sure we'll get a report probably either at the end of the year, or early next year about how WWE is desperate to sign Iyo to a new deal, just like they have been with Natalya, Becky, etc. The problem is that they have zero leverage right now, because Iyo has no reason to trust whatever they offer her in terms of booking, plus Rossy will likely want her back for Marigold. The only thing they can offer is money, which isn't everything for everyone. I imagine the only thing WWE can offer her that would actually incentivize her to stay is some form of creative control surrounding her booking, which they have been giving out to some of their stars in an attempt to get them to stay.

MariGold is gonna be extremely important to both KAIRI and IYO's future with WWE.
because IF they enter into a working relationship with MariGold then that gives WWE a pretty good chance to retain IYO and KAIRI if they allow them to work MariGold a bit more often and I said this as I posted about their white belt they revealed it looks like it will be a belt that is intended to be defended in NA so I can absoloutley see IYO and KAIRI holding that and defending it in WWE and in MariGold which gives solid bit of attention to MariGold to WWE's wider audience and this only strgenthened with cyber agents new president wanting to strengthen the relationship between NOAH and WWE...and Rossy is of course on good terms with NOAh as I just posted the match they had at Wrestle Magic.
But of course we wont really know how any of this truly plays out untill after MariGold has their first show and then roll into the summer and see if Rossy manages to get IYO and KAIRI for his big show that he has publicly said he wants.

I don't think I can take Kairi or Iyo losing to Lyra... It is gonna interesting both how that match is booked and the post result. Because Lyra is gonna get her push regardless and Becky's support is gonna be a big help for her. But IYO is once again catching fire with the audience and the last time this happened...he ended up doubling down on her heel run and instead long term chose to turn Bayley babyface instead , so we will see if he chooses to let the boat pass him by again by keeping her heel long term.

I don't think I can take Kairi or Iyo losing to Lyra... I don't know about IYO, but Kairi does not win matches. Her last and only singles win was 4 years ago in her farewell win against Bayley.
IYO can win if she cheats, or she's facing a no-hoper like Natty or Michin.
I think IYO will get a cheat win over Lyra. I still think the plan is for Jade to beat IYO in the Queen of the Ring final. After tonight the picture for the tournament will be clear.

Guess baby face Kairi is something that will never be. I know people love her heel work but she as a baby face could be the biggest most lovable one they have and they refuse to ever let her be her natural self.

So Idk after tonight if IYO's chances to win this entire thing goes up or down.
Lyra Vs Nia in the finals just feels like a total fart of a final even though I like Lyra enough but that is absoloutley the most uninteresting scenario.
Bianca and IYO gives the best match of any scenario but the chances of IYO beating Bianca are my chances with Gianna Michaels.
The best chance IYO has of winning would be against Nia but for health and safety reasons of my own mind please for gawd sakes no.
IYO is the absoloute MVP of this tourney and if HHH wants the best finals he can get here then she needs to be in the finals IMO.

The girls looked excellent this week. It's looking like Iyo will likely be in the final now against Belair and likely steal the show. I think she'll win it.
Also Kay getting a match against Becky was awesome and the could lead to a title program between Becky and Sky which would be awesome.

They did IYO vs Bianca last year at Crown Jewel. I guess it's possible they do it again. Bianca is at her weakest in Saudi Arabia. She's got a 2-3 record there. IYO Sky is undefeated in Saudi Arabia with a record of 2-0.
