Yeah they should, but if Kairi’s being penalized for being a tag team wrestler, why isn’t Asuka? Asuka actually won a few singles matches within the time frame of the list.

Where’s all this talk about Utami wanting to date Iyo coming from? This thread has basically been a school project for a while. It might just be that.

Where’s all this talk about Utami wanting to date Iyo coming from? It's a been a running gag since MariGold Summer Destiny. Because Utami is known as the most romantic wrestler in the world and has a whole lore backstory with Saya Kamitani and how when she left for the fields of MariGold it broke her one true love Kamitani and hence why she became the Dark Phenix she is now and now the joke is Utami is romanticizing any and every other woman that is anyone but tall Saya and due to her reaction when her match with IYO was announced that now her heart only belongs to IYO and everytime IYO is in Japan it is because Utami has been calling for her. Again it is a fun running gag for those that are aware of Utami and Saya Kamitanis relationship and how that has shaped Kamitani in particular even though they are in 2 different companies.

Trust me if this thread was actually a school project...I would post the Naked with Mayu and Naked with Titles pictures of IYO. But see we have been accused of being unhinged...but we aren't savages for gawd sakes we leave that to the uncouthed in the other 100 stan threads.

Not sure I understand PWI’s concept of not including mostly tag wrestlers. They’re still wrestling and they’re still winning/defending titles, etc. To paraphrase Adam Savage, “I reject your rankings and substitute my own”.

Yeah they should, but if Kairi’s being penalized for being a tag team wrestler, why isn’t Asuka? Kairi didn’t have the required number of singles matches in their grading period. I think it’s 10. I don’t understand it either. One of the best up-and-coming indie wrestlers, Rachel Armstrong, didn’t make the list because she wrestled too many “openweight/intergender” matches. Makes no sense.

Eh, I’ll admit, I rather have Mayu Iwatani come stateside to join her old buddies.

Eh, I’ll admit, I rather have Mayu Iwatani come stateside to join her old buddies. We will see what happens when Mayu's STARDOM contract is up next year and if she jumps ship because if she does there is a definet possibility that she makes atleast one appearance in WWE which is exactly the same situation here with Utami...she wants to stand in WWE ring but just wont do well being overseas long term. But also WWE is apparently pushing hard internally according to reports for a live show from Japan next year so seem's the stars are aligning to make this all a very real possibility.

nitter.poast.org/meraWRESTLING/status/1847476321779384604#mThat doesn't remotely surprise me considering she has no other Japanese there in NXT right now (outside of maybe Funaki) so it has to feel lonely for her which is something but Asuka and IYO have said how they have felt at times. This in part has to be why IYO and KAIRI are going to NXT to give her a bit of a support system and aleviate that for bit which is why it wont surprise me if they straight up just hotshot Giulia to the main roster sooner than later just to ensure she has a full support system and she doesn't continue to feel discouraged or lonely etc in NXT

Speaking of Giulia’s situation, I don’t mean this in a negative way, but do Japanese wrestlers only want to be friends with other Japanese wrestlers? I never really see any of them on social media hanging with other wrestlers other than fellow Asian ones. I always thought being in WWE, a company with a billion different employees, with a hundred different ethnicities would help wrestlers from other countries branch out and maybe even help with their language barriers
It’s kind of discouraging to me that they seem to only want to hang out with fellow countrymen.

This is my POV. I think it is just a comfort thing....similar tastes , they can talk to eachother in their native language and not feel discouraged about how maybe they may mispronounce something etc. Again to me I think it just comes down to comfort like some places are easier to acclimate to western culture because they have more similarities....Japanese on the other hand is so far different in like every aspect.

I mean in the case of WWE, a good solid chunk of the NXT roster is legitimately batshit insane. You have Dani Palmer who thinks Democrats can create hurricanes, Nikkita Lyons who is pro-insurrection, etc. It's pretty damn telling the only two people in NXT who have publicly shown they aren't insane are Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez. It also doesn't help that its basically an unspoken fact that NXT and the WWE PC is widely seen as the Olympic Village of pro wrestling, which means a bunch of talent trying to sleep with each other. It would absolutely not shock me if a bunch of the talent down there were trying to hit on Giulia, which would make anyone uncomfortable after a bit.

You've named two women out of 40, and basically slandered 30 others for no reason, basically saying that because they're not publicly out with their political leanings like Jade and Perez, they must be for the bad one. Shouldn't even be mentioning this stuff on here anyway.
