Also interesting how you can interpret Dakota's tweet about "your fairytail is ending" with that specific gif...either talking about Bayley or even IYO and IYO looking like she is glaring at Bayley behind her back (even though it is to Becky(. .....it has been a few weeks since Dakota betrayed someone....girl needs to get her fix, pronto...... I would not be surprised if we got the reveal this was all a swerve within a swerve and that Dakota has always been with Bayley and was just a double agent...would fill her quota for turning on people again. And it gives Bayley some actual allies against Dmg Cntrl what with Naomi already seemingly already involved from the backstage talking segment last week. And also would keep Bianca out of this and cosistent with not helping Bayley. Now if only the actual champion could be allowed to actually have the feud she is meant to then things would be peachy with all of this. |

Honestly, this story doesn’t feel as big as it should. They gave them the main event tonight, but did nothing interesting with it. And Iyo feels like a total afterthought here as well.

Honestly, this story doesn’t feel as big as it should. They gave them the main event tonight, but did nothing interesting with it. And Iyo feels like a total afterthought here as well. The problem is they are trying way too hard to get Bayley over as a babyface, at the expense of literally everyone in Damage CTRL. The problem with Iyo's reign is that it's very clear they only want fans to focus on Rhea as THE woman on the main roster. I remember Corey Graves mentioning on commentary late last year that Iyo was pissed off at the fans because they spent more time gushing over Rhea than they did her, and she had a chip on her shoulder over it. While he was obviously speaking in kayfabe, I wouldn't be shocked if there was a nugget of truth in that statement, because WWE has done everything they can to downplay Iyo's reign, and big up Rhea's reign. And while there's a story that can easily be told there, it's something I don't see WWE actually doing. It also doesn't help that Iyo has only won one match this entire year, and spent almost all of last year being Bianca's bitch still, despite being the champion. I'm kind of in the camp at this point that Damage CTRL as a whole should be drafted to RAW, and keep Bianca as far away from possible as them. This is why this year is going to be very interesting for Iyo, because her contract is apparently up in early 2025. If WWE wants to keep her (and I don't see why they wouldn't), then they are gonna have to pay a LOT of money for her to stick around, and likely give her an incredibly strong, sustained push as a focal point of the company. Otherwise I would almost guarantee she'll move back to Japan and help work on Rossy's new promotion. And when I mean focal point, I mean basically either on, or just very slightly below Bianca and Rhea levels of focus. |

I ask WHY WHY WHY IS THIS IYO SOMEHOW NOT ALLOWED ON THE ACTUAL SHOW? f***ing boss ass promo by IYO and you do not even need to understand her actual words because her overall body language conveys everything about what she is thinking and her intentions. And I love how quick she flipped from comforting and welcoming Dakota back to the ring but then just f***ing snaps and immediately focuses in on killing Naomi next week so great. And also this falls in line with this weird line they are treading with her as she is suppose to be heel but she is showing all the traits of why people f***ing loved this woman in NXT....too bad IT IS RELEGATED TO THE GAWD DAMN YOUTUBE CHANNEL! It is f***ing aggravating. Naomi and IYO SHOULD be a great match....depending on which Naomi we get because if this is the Naomi not on her A-game this could get a bit rough. And ima call the ending now....Naomi is gonna catch another beatdown but Bayley will come out only to IMMEDIATELY get cut off by Bianca sprinting to the ring to save Naomi , so it becomes a bit of a loose alliance but WWE can still act like Bianca did not come out for Bayley but for Naomi and this can feed into Bianca's heel turn that she was there for Naomi and not Bayley etc. |

IYO and Kairi went live on Instagram during a car ride tonight... they answered questions in Japanese, English, and Spanish.
WWE needs to let them talk on TV more!

I love when Io busts out the spanish because it comes as a complete and total f***ing shocker to those that never followed her career and only know about her in STARDOM and WWE. Idk what Rey is doing with Zelina but Rey's dumb ass should have just went to recruiting Io....the Santos problem would have done been dealt with.  |

I HOPE they’re just being extra cautious after what happened on SD and that she’s not actually seriously hurt.

I kinda feel like her not wrestling often on TV is intentional. Because her ring work basically forced a face turn for her in NXT, and it would likely result in the same thing happening on the main roster at some point. Especially since she never really needed to cheat in NXT to begin with, she only did it a few times because she wanted to. The only thing I want from this match (but probably won't get) is Iyo going over clean, as she absolutely needs a strong performance heading into Mania. Odds are good Naomi will be protected even though she can easily eat a pin and be fine. |

KAIRI's favourite stateside food is...celery and peanut butter....did not see that one coming of all the things. Not popular in Japan though as a way to eat celery. LOL holy f*** how adorable was how excited they got over discussing Ihop and Dennys lol...don't f*** with Joshi's and their love of Pancakes and the different syrups. |

BUT also I definetly feel a sense of truth in those words , not so much Bayley being controlling but more so that Dmg Cntrl as it was and this is something people have been saying since last year that it was holding back both Dakota and IYO when they were doing nothing but being served as breakfast lunch and dinner to Bianca.
Which is why I am very interested in seeing what becomes of IYO in particular post Mania.

I would actually have Kairi take the pin, so that the other members of Damage Ctrl would be like "Where were you while Kairi was getting pinned!" and then have her inadvertently cost IYO the title. At least with those two scenarios you could run with IYO being paranoid that Dakota is a possible double double agent of Bayley trying to screw them over from the inside. Another scenario they could IF KAIRI takes the pin is use this as a plot point to have Asuka and KAIRI break up and ties it into the scenario I have long said needs to play out and gets us to the triple threat. Asuka can return look at KAIRI as weak for losing their titles and it sort of reverts KAIRI back to being the ultra sympathetic babyface as Asuka bullys her...which starts IYO on her babyface turn by defending KAIRI. But KAIRI doesn't embrace her because she wants to prove she is strong as both the women she holds closest. |
