I really f***ing hope his stupid lumbering ass gets all the pushback from that.
You can be upset all you want...but to basically say they should have let alone he himself would have shot on her is absoloutley f***ed up.
So how many women in the lockerroom are gonna come to KAIRI's defence? I want that same energy they came at fans with over Maxxine.

Why does Io need to be the one to defeat Ripley? Who else would you suggest? No one wants Nia as champion She beat Becky and quite frankly Becky has for the past few months felt...off Liv while I like has proven she isn't someone you throw the title on atleast long term to head up the division. IYO proved lastnight how head and shoulders she is bell to bell above any other woman on this roster to ignore that performance and let it go to waste by just sliding her to the midcard would be IMO very f***ing stupid and getting her away from Bianca and Jade that whole lot needs to happen because if she stays on SD she is nothing but fodder to them and again how anyone who watched her lastnight can sit and be like....oh yea that's what she deserves unless they really f***ing hate her for whatever reason. And Rhea's title reign needs to end ...she isn't losing that title to anyone currently on the Raw roster and we saw how much wasted space there has been with her title reign as she just wasted months waiting for the Becky feud to actually start so she could actually ya know be an active champion and not just someone with a title that hung around in the goth club. Anybody. It could be Cargill, it could be Tiffy, it could be a returning Flair. There's two world titles and Io might not even be on the same show as Ripley going forwards. It's just incredibly silly to act like Io not defeating Ripley is somehow disrespectful to her and that she's the only one who can do it.

Why does Io need to be the one to defeat Ripley? Probably because she should be a top woman in the company after that performance last night? On the same level as Bianca and Rhea? And Bianca is almost certainly going to be feuding with Jade at some point. And I don't think you can realistically drag Rhea's reign out until Mania next year either, because it's already getting long in the tooth because outside of the Becky feud, there's no one credible for her to feud with on either RAW or Smackdown right now, outside of Bianca, Jade, and maybe Iyo. And I have a feeling Bianca is remaining on Smackdown along with Jade. That's the frustration people have here. Iyo is absolutely a top tier main event level talent, but WWE absolutely refuses to acknowledge it and seems to be sabotaging her with poor creative. Yes she got the co-main event, but almost certainly only because they wanted to give Bayley a huge rub. The only women they want people to see as top level main event level stars are Bayley, Becky, Bianca, Rhea, and Jade. If they wanted Iyo to be seen on that level, they could have easily told Punk, Charlotte, and others to talk her up in interviews. Hell, even Bayley didn't give Iyo much credit during the post show press conference. She mentioned Iyo was a good competitor, but then spent more time absolutely gushing about how Rhea, Bianca, Jade, etc are the future. Just look at Iyo's title run. They did the bare minimum, or possibly even lower than that to actually portray her as someone for fans to be invested in. This is why this thread is incredibly negative and hostile towards anything that doesn't push her towards the top. Because it absolutely feels like WWE is intentionally sabotaging her because they have their handpicked chosen ones and don't want to deviate from that. For lack of a better phrase, she's basically seen as a B+ level talent at the best of times when she should be an A+ level talent and on the same level as Rhea and Bianca. It's just WWE doesn't want to actually invest in building her up to that level. This is just such baffling outlook given that she literally was just given a showcase match at WrestleMania which she carried the title belt into. We are reaching Poochie levels where you went be satisfied until she wins everything and the commentators constantly ask where she is when she's not on screen.

I never said she is the ONLY one that could do it but to me she is the best choice especially after her performance lastnight and she is in a position now where she could get drafted to Raw and immediately get slotted into that role because right now there aint no one else on Raw that is in position to do it IMO. And if that view bothers or annoys you my apologies.

But there is literally no chance she beats Jade, Tiffany, or even Charlotte. Because Jade is probably going to go undefeated in singles action for a long ass time (even though its a bad idea), and Tiffany is probably going to feud with Charlotte. The Smackdown side of things is way too loaded for Iyo to rise back to the top, because that would require her to be pushed over A LOT of other women who WWE are very clearly higher on going forward after yesterday (Jade, Bianca, Bayley, and arguably Naomi and Charlotte (when she returns)). Where on RAW, the competition is much thinner. And while I imagine Iyo wouldn't be the only woman moved from Smackdown to RAW, she would probably be the biggest one, and the best to actually do it now.

Dakota is probably Bayley's next challenger. Would not surprise me if they drafted ASUKA , IYO AND KAIRI to Raw and basically disolved Dmg Cntrl as a group without really breaking them up , leaving Dakota on SD to feud with Bayley and maybe bring Teagan over to reunite that pair after reigniting their feud.

Io only just yesterday and you want her pushed to the top again already? It's fine to let others like Bayley and Ripley be on top for a while. No one is saying Iyo needs to be pushed straight to the top again immediately. What I'm saying is that Iyo should be the one to dethrone Ripley when its time. Whether that be at Summerslam this year or Mania next year. And I would argue that its fine Bayley and Ripley have their title runs (even though Ripley's run is gonna be completely out of steam post Summerslam most likely as she'll likely have cleared out most of the roster on both brands). What I'm saying is that Iyo needs to be pushed as a top woman ON THE SAME LEVEL as Bianca and Rhea. She proved herself last night, but I'm sorry if I have literally zero confidence in her remaining anywhere even near the top after last night. Sorry if I feel like it's pretty obvious Iyo has a very strong chance of falling back down to the midcard now, instead of being a main eventer like she should be. The problem is that it's very clear Iyo isn't going to get that opportunity to actually do that. With Rhea she might actually stand a chance of doing so. I don't think this will be the case. I feel like Jade and Bianca are absolutely going to remain on Smackdown, because their TV deals are still critical to them.

You can kind of start to piece together certain changes especially with the women by looking at what matches HHH clearly wants to set up at Mania next year. Everyone has seemingly had it locked in that it is gonna be CHARLOTTE , RHEA , JADE , BIANCA in whatever combination that are gonna be the headline womens matches. I think HHH knows he has to get Dmg Cntrl basically away from Bianca he has exhausted that well LONGGGGGGGG enough that it is coughing up dust...so it depends on what he wants...JADE VS BIANCA OR BIANCA VS RIPLEY...and that opens the other door for Charlotte's return....but we have already done Charlotte and Rhea so.

Like, it was genuinely kind of unsettling for such an insignificant detail. Does he do this regularly? I always thought he had a reputation as being a nice guy, but this is genuinely a very weird reaction.

Like he will take absolutely no criticism of them whatsoever, and takes offense to any potential of them being overshadowed (speculation is because he scouted them). He's been this way for a long time. Also a lot of the older wrestlers/managers seem to have it out for Japanese women in particular. Cornette, Henry, Bubba, etc love to use their platform to shit on them as much as possible.

Bianca vs Ripley he probably wants that to be a WM Main Event, but that probably won't be likely with Rock/Reigns and some combination of Cody/GUNTHER or Rollins/Punk available. So, I'd reckon he pulls the trigger on Bianca/Rhea for WM42. I think Bianca/Jade is the more likely option next year.

Iyo proved herself as a true mainevent level player. I don’t see her beating Rhea as I think she’s heading to big money feud with Bianca later this year.
But I do think Iyo will be a cornerstone of the women’s division going forward.

It is going to be very telling of what value they see in IYO going forward after lastnight.
because she was undeniable lastnight....Bayley got her moment and it was what it was about but to me that was IYO's match and a performance like that you would think means big things still ahead for her especially since they did not do right by her with that title reign.
But if that performance was not enough to sway them to push her to the absoloute top of the division where she should be (I am not saying win the title back now so settle down) then idk.

Because IYO’s 8 month WWE Women’s Championship reign came to an end when the story dictated it should end? Why do we think Paul is just gonna toss her to the wayside now? He’s clearly high on her, he pushed her huge in NXT as well.

So people have every right to be worried that she's going to be tossed to the wayside.
