Iyo proved herself as a true mainevent level player. I don’t see her beating Rhea as I think she’s heading to big money feud with Bianca later this year. But I do think Iyo will be a cornerstone of the women’s division going forward. Yeah, I have no idea where all this doom and gloom is coming from. Because IYO’s 8 month WWE Women’s Championship reign came to an end when the story dictated it should end? Why do we think Paul is just gonna toss her to the wayside now? He’s clearly high on her, he pushed her huge in NXT as well. Yeah as my name suggests I’ve saw that for awhile and I don’t really get it. Damage Control had all the gold in the Women’s division(aside from Rhea) for the majority of the year. They were dominant against anybody other than Bianca(who Iyo beat twice admittedly in heel fashion which makes sense since she’s a heel). Why do people think they’re going to push Iyo and the other members to the side who’ve they’ve spent the last year pushing as big deals in the division? It’s just doesn’t make sense. |

People are irritated by it, because she literally was never the focal point during any of her "feuds" as champion. So people have every right to be worried that she's going to be tossed to the wayside. It just seems like a ridiculous over reaction. We’re less than 24 hours removed from her losing the belt, we haven’t had a single show yet. We have zero idea what direction they’re heading, and they’re clearly taking things in a new direction with the company as a whole, why don’t we give it a few weeks til we grab the pitchforks? |

The opposite question can be asked...what makes anyone think they are gonna elevate any of Dmg Cntrl from where they are now let alone believe they aren't just gonna drop off and remaning the perenial punching bags they have been treated as?
They have been nothing but punching bags to Bianca and treated like pretty much losers and also they lost at Mania.
IYO has been treated as pretty damn irrelvent for basically her whole title run and was also a punching bag for Bianca for basically her entire main roster run...and she to lost at Mania.
Dmg Cntrl has lost pretty every single major match they have been involved with....IYO may have held the title but I wouldn't say her run was in anyway befitting of a woman who held the title for 200+ days.
Jade and Bianca are likely gonna take the tag titles off of the Kabuki Warriors..and that will be that.

Being behind Bianca/Rhea/Becky isn't some major indictment on the talent of damage ctrl. For all the burying some people here think they did with Asuka she has gotten plenty of title matches when they needed to slot her in. Iyo being in that spot isn't a death sentence.

I think people are just frustrated that Iyo may never be booked on Rhea's, Bianca's, (etc) level despite being just as talented.

It is not about holding a title even though that would be nice again. This is about giving her that recognition...she is the best bell to bell woman they have and she proved it lastnight elevate her to that top spot where she clearly belongs instead of treating her like someones relentless punching bag. |

AEW employee and podcast talking person Mark Henry was complaining on his show that Kairi “didn’t respect the business” because *checks notes* …she stayed in the ring too long during Bianca/Naomi/Jade’s entrance, and that they should have shot on her for it. What a man baby nitpick overreaction. How dare Kairi stay in what 2 seconds max more then Dakota and Asuka which I doubt most people noticed! I can't be objective anyway, I dislike both Mark Henry and Bubba Ray Dudley to save anybody having to go find it, this is what the complaint was What an odd little nitpick that nobody cares about. |

TJ and Molly litetally had quite the rollercoaster by producing individually to me what were two duds with the two womens matches on night 1 only to roar back on night 2 and produce the best match of the weekend and MOTY candidate.

Personally I think Ripley v Lynch was good, nowhere near as good as Ripley v Flair 2 or Lynch v Flair at Evolution for example, but I enjoyed it (hated the band that sung in Ripley though lol) As for the women's tag match - It was ok I thought personally. Different strokes though and we both agree about Bayley v Shirai anyways so all good  |
