This is the most WWE booked feud AEW has ever done I feel like. Champ pinned in a random tag match, a stable beatdown right before the PPV, etc.

I like that they actually have had MJF's villainy cost him here, they could've just ignored it but the dude has done so much villainy that it would feel narratively cheap to just sweep that under the rug.
