Part of me thinks it's a work, but the other part wants to see Seth go to AEW because of how f***ing crazy it'd be. He’d be a big addition there. I still think Seth knew and this is all setting up his match at Mania. I just don’t think HHH, who was a wrestler himself, would risk f***ing up the locker room at this point in time by keeping something this big from his very top talent. Maybe I’m naive, but it just doesn’t seem wise.

What power did Punk have to "try to protect" Jungle Boy? The glass spot was approved by management and they even let Jack rent out a limo to do it. What right did Punk have to veto it? He has no power. Amazing how you blast The Elite for "running wild with power", yet you have no problem with Punk being a dictator without any power to do so. From all of the accounts we've heard it was Jungle Boy that fired the first shot. You are right that Punk should have just kept his hands to himself, that's ultimately what did him in. But, my god, it felt like one half of that locker room was so dead-set on f***ing throwing the guy out that it was just ridiculous. Eddie Kingston, Britt Baker, Ricky Starks, FTR, Brody King all defended the guy. Those are all big names. Jericho worked with Punk again. Like, at some point we have to look at the problems of the other side, the only others involved, which were Kenny and The Bucks. I dont know what the whole deal even was anymore towards the end. But after Brawl-Out, Tony Khan tried, but he should have stepped up to help his own company and rein these guys in. I want AEW to succeed and letting the inmates run the assylm, Punk included, utterly screwed himself over. But, my god, as a boss, Khan should have had the come together. My main point, if I had any, is that this hurts AEW. In sales, in merch and in star power and the only finger I can point to is The Elite members. Which accounts are those? Because I've only seen one account that claims that, it was the one that came out right after it happened, and the one that Miro QRTed to say was a lie. I'd like to know what other accounts claim that.

If someone assaulted me, I wouldn't want to work with them. The Elite shouldn't have been forced to work with Punk. It was their choice. They were assaulted by Punk and his friend. Name another workplace where you should be forced to work with the person who assaulted you. And with that, I'll just put you on my ignore list and watch everyone else debunk your ridiculous takes.

Punk's finally going to get that Wrestlemania main event, I can see him vs. Seth on Night 1 for the World Title and probably Seth turns back heel afterwards. oh good god, if this is how both of them get their first Mania main event... I was already planning to wait to watch night 2 only after getting confirmation Cody lost. If we get Seth / Punk headlining night one then this is just going to be a Mania I completely skip.

I love it. Cody left AEW after Punk showed up. Now Punk's in WWE before Cody even gets to finish his story. I won't be watching, but I'll DEFINITELY be following the story to see what he does this time.
This thread is hilarious though. Love that "we don't know anything" but it's obviously the Bucks and Kenny's faults and they're the only ones we can point the finger at. Like they forced Punk to assault Jungle Boy. Then they forced Punk to cause Tony Khan to fear for his life. Those damn Elite!

My main point, if I had any, is that this hurts AEW. In sales, in merch and in star power and the only finger I can point to is The Elite members. That finger should be pointed at CM Punk. The Elite were prepared to give him a second chance if he behaved himself, but dude sandbagged the announcement of Collision. And the following is why so many people are willing to defend one Phillip Jack Brooks.

Seth has never been able to convincingly convey an emotion so there's an incredibly strong chance that Seth is legit furious that CM Punk is back.

I am reasonably sure that in real life, a lot of guys aren’t going to be thrilled, but I also feel pretty confident that Punk talked to a few guys. Roman had to know, I’m guessing Seth and Cody knew. Maybe that’s the extent of it. I don’t think they just literally had him pop up out of nowhere. The t-shirt is already on the web site, even if he didn’t sign the deal till today, somebody had to know.

It bodes well for this run that we immediately have one of our world champs furious at Punk's arrival and having announcers and wrestlers calming them down
(it could be a work or turned into one ofc but that Cole, Corey, Sami, and Cody trying to calm dude down does not look like a work)

I kinda like that Punk insists you come pick him up in his home state if you want him to come work for you.

I've pretty much calmed down. Im a Punk fan. Punk f***ed up a lot. Im disappointed that he ultimately went back to the place that he said wronged him. It makes him a hypocrite, in a way. But He is my favorite of his generation and AEW was the company that I still love when it comes t wrestling. I apologize to those who love this, but as an AEW fan, im just sad it all had to come to this, be it because of Punks shitty attitude or some other power.
I wont be watching WWE. But, I hope everyone who does on this forum has a blast because as the wrestler, not the person, CM Punk is still awesome.
