Who are Punk’s locker room allies? Kofi from carshare days, Bayley is friends with AJ and… It’s going to be lonelier than Collision was when it was the CM Punk & Friends show.  He's got allies in Mandy Rose's BSK. It's all he needs. Three women who now know their days of fiddling around with coins at the Starbucks counter are over (for the next six weeks). |

First off, LOLMELTZER. He had next to no credibility with me anymore but, and I quote, "there is “no evidence” that CM Punk is returning to WWE tonight at Survivor Series in Chicago, and reiterates “those close to the situation have denied it.” Second off, it's a work folks, at least with Seth. I'm a big Seth Rollins fan, and an even bigger Colby Lopez fan since he grew up and got his start here in the Quad Cities. He isn't going to go into business for himself in front of fans. He's too much of a professional for that. Drew might be a different story, but I hope not. He might just be sour with his contract situation. Regardless, HOLY SHIT. I was hoping he would return for the full circle story and I am a Punk fan. He will draw fans and more eyes on the product is always a good thing. He's also in a professional environment with, I'm assuming, a boss in HHH that will be like Vince in the way that if CM Punk steps out of line, Mr. Brooks will be plying his trade at TNA, NWA, or MLW shortly. Sorry dude, but CM Punk screws CM Punk. If you want to talk unprofessionalism you need to start with CM Punk himself. I don't make him out to be saint and I'm not throwing stones at any of them. I doubt Seth was going into business for himself. Drew may or may not have thrown a fit but did so out of the view of fans. So good for him. |

With Rhea as well, that means either multiple people really hate that Punk is there or they’re all pretending to hate it. Either way, pretty stupid! That’s kind of where I’m at, that WWE had this massive, shocking return and all we’re talking about in its immediate aftermath is whether the WWE performers hate CM Punk for real or hate him on screen. It’s not a great look that the conversation has immediately shifted from “CM Punk is back!” to “CM Punk is back and we have to wait until Monday Night Raw to find out whether everyone’s anger was scripted!” |

Honestly I'm kind of more and more coming around to feeling like I just need to cut wrestling out of my life entirely because such a huge contingent of it centered around absolutely gigantic pieces of shit and no one in any kind of position of power cares at all, and I can't handle it. I mean, I stopped watching WWE regularly because I was tired of hating what I was watching. It felt like there was no hope in sight, just an endless vacuum of gloom and doom. If it's that difficult to enjoy something, it's probably wise to cut it out of your routine. It sucks because, like, I enjoyed the show tonight, I can enjoy wrestling plenty, but when you've got trash like Punk and McDonagh and Nia on one side and people like Hager and Darby and Andrade on the other it's just frustrating to deal with the realities of the industry. |

I tell you one thing, CM Punk come's back all the sudden people are questioning if it's a work or not. You see how that's bad though, right? Like, you see how the big star re-signing bringing a bunch of controversy and 'is this real' stuff isn't actually productive at all? Because when WWE writes its storylines on the assumption most of its audience has Observer subscriptions is when WWE's writing is at some of its worst. |

Rhea is clearly working. She's not even flipping Punk off, she's flipping the fan off who's recording her. Of course she is. She’s looking into the camera and flipping her off. Everyone is so excited to say the wrestlers are pissed that they’re missing obvious things. They want the wrestlers to be pissed to validate their own hatred for the guy because of what happened in AEW. I was even on here showing proof of what I thought to be him in the Survivor Series poster, and people mocked me for it. |

The petty side of me is like, "lol you guys can have him, haha!"  But, yeesh. I'm not terribly shocked by this, but I'm very disappointed. Dude should be blackballed. You would think making his previous employer fear for his life would be grounds for that, but apparently not. Everyone in wrestling is a carny mark and this proves it. Honestly I'm kind of more and more coming around to feeling like I just need to cut wrestling out of my life entirely because such a huge contingent of it centered around absolutely gigantic pieces of shit and no one in any kind of position of power cares at all, and I can't handle it. I don't think there's anyone inherently horrible on Impact right now if you need to scratch your wrestling itch. Like the closest is probably Tommy Dreamer and he's just kind of an idiot. |
