I can't really see many options on his level that have any real remaining appeal to them at this point. Gunther, Punk, Owens, maybe Sheamus are like all I can think of. Possibly Kross if whatever they're doing with him ever gets underway?

Brock vs. Gunther on Night 1 of WrestleMania. It will have been 10 years to the *day* that Brock ended the streak. You can have a full circle moment where Brock gets his ass beat and loses in decisive fashion. The story writes itself.

Mania 41 is rumored to be in Minnesota - let him come back for Mania 41, get one last fun Lesnar ass kicking squash, an HOF induction and call it a day.

They seem relatively content to have him as a back-up attraction for any top-guy needing to be occupied, so I'm guessing we'll twig what he's doing at 'Mania as soon as we see a full-timer without a clear path to XL.

I think there was a poll for this a number of weeks ago, and I voted for Lesnar to take on Dominik Mysterio. It was never a match I would have ever considered putting together, but the thought of Dom getting tossed all over the Linc while crying for his Mami is both hilarious and something that I want to see.

depends on what brock we get. if it's entertaining comedy brock then anything he wants, if it's serious wrecking ball brock and the match is over in seconds... that brock can stay home as it's been done to death.

I figure Brock is basically the default WrestleMania opponent for any upper carder that has an opponent get injured/sick/sent back to their home planet between now and then.

And honestly he's damn good at being in this position. Because at the end of the day it totally fits Brock's character to show up out of the blue and say "I don't like you, let's fight"

Solo. Brock seemed to turn face at Summerslam and after "retiring" Cena Solo can try do the same to another huge name. You've got the Heyman connection too. Maybe that's how they could write out Solo/Heyman from interfering in the night 2 main event if on night 1 Brock F5s Heyman and hurts Solo bad enough too.

If Gunther drops the IC title at the Rumble (seems unlikely) I'd do Brock-Gunther at Mania though. It would feel weird to me though to have that be an IC title match, both because Brock isn't a midcard title kinda guy and also I think Gunther should drop the title there and the guy who beats him would ideally be a Gable or even Jey or LA Knight, not an already fully established guy like Brock.

it’s a good point because while the man is still a literal BEAST age is catching up with him. Legs are a clear sign.

I love the Solo and Logan Paul suggestions. The Cody program showed though, Brock’s time is not long in the wider scope of things.

I would be shocked if that happened considering most of what Lesnar does involves his opponent landing on their neck/upper back.

Yeah I know he surprised people with some of the stuff in the Owens match but I can't picture Austin taking F5s or German suplexes and that's 90's of Brock's repertoire.

Also, I don't think Austin will do another match after that perfect final one in Texas but if he did surely with recent developments Punk would be his opponent now? Both guys have said for years they'd love to have been able to wrestle each other.

Gunther vs. Brock should be an awesome match, but I have a hard time getting excited about Brock matches anymore because of how hit or miss they've been for the last 8 or 9 years IMO.
