Do they also get to be trained to today's standard? Because if yes, Chyna.
If they are just the version of themselves from their prime? Aja Kong!
If that's not cheating? Alundra Blayze.

If they get to be trained to today's standard, I might actually suggest Candace Michelle. She's another one of those types (similar to Nikki Bella) who was just starting to 'get it' just before her body gave out on her.

Leilani Kai would do well in this era. Her and Judy Martin had some great matches with the jumping bomb angels, and Judy Martin was very believable when beating the daylights out of her opponents. I just happened to watch some of Leilani Kai’s work in Japan a week or so ago on YouTube and she jumped up my “Most Underrated” list. Solid worker and a great brawler.

Melina, I feel like she'd struggle- she was charismatic and had her flexible weird style but I think she stood out more because the crop of the era wasn't as good- today she'd be a bit of an also ran. As for AJ, bags of charisma, but I think she's another who was better than the era, rather than who'd be amongst the best in this era. She'd be successful due to her charisma and the sheer obsessive fandom she cultivated (similar to Punk funnily enough) but in ring, she'd be middle of the pack, I think. I think Melina’s matches with Gail, Beth, McCool, Alicia Fox, Natalya and Mickie show the talent that she had despite the limitations the women back then had enforced on them, and pretty much all those matches wouldn’t look out of place on a RAW or Smackdown today. She was inventive and creative (she’d be a great hand to have backstage as an agent) and given time in the performance centre I think she’d still be top of the division today. I also think with training AJ would have been even better than she was. She came in at a time when FCW didn’t even have a trainer for the women (just missing out on Sara Del Rey) and she was actually leading the classes when she was still a trainee herself. Candice is someone, again, who I would have liked to have seen with the performance centre training. She got as good as she did training on the road during her time off. Same with Eve and Layla. Three women who didn’t get solid training, had to learn on the job, but all became proficient.

I'm gonna go there...SUNNY.
Because with the wellness program and all, and the locker rooms being less toxic, there's less a chance she becomes...well, you know.
(Then again, Jimmy Uso and Jeff Hardy...)
Would she just be a manager? Maybe.

Ooooh, good idea. And she'd probably be treated better, with a character with dignity. Nia Jax is taken somewhat seriously (good idea, not so good worker though). Then again they're still not perfect (took them a while to get over Doudrop) when it comes to PSWs' roles. And it would also be great to have multiple monster heels for the women's division. Having three different women on the roster who are all over 250 lbs would be the first time that I can even remember for WWE. And with more attention in today's society to bullying and bodyshaming, as I said they don't get comedy gimmicks most likely. Molly would have benefitted similarly too...there's no way they do what they did in 2002 without getting slammed by social media for shaming her character.

I wasn't a huge fan but with her being name-dropped on Raw last night there's no doubt if AJ Lee's music hit during the Rumble the pop would be huge.
She was kinda around a bit when the women's division started getting more focus but ended up leaving just before it really took off.

I know it won't be for a while but I really want to see Paige back in WWE one day. Paige vs Cora Jade would be fun.Or have Gigi dye her hair back to black and re do the whole Trish/Mickey feud but with Paige vs Gigi.

Alot of the girls from shimmer could work but lacked charisma. I still would have preferred a lot of them on screen compared to models Ace picked out of lingerie catalogues.
Off the top of head from all eras and companies:
Sherri.(Was never afraid to take a bump amazing screen presence) Non screaming Daffney. (Killer look and charisma) Heidi Lee Morgan. (Work horse) Rhonda Sing. (Tough heel) Ivory. (Can work face or heel) Madusa. (Can work face or heel) Bull Nakano. (Hot, scary, badass) Kristen Astara (to be queen of the jobbers) Sara Del Ray (tough, but jtts, make her a female Mr Perfect?)
