Christian has managed to turn 4 people evil in under a year lol Swerve: I convinced AR Fox to commit a horrible assault Christian: I will make the victim of said assault a scumbag. My surrogate son, no less. I will gaslight this entire roster to keep this TNT Championship! I wanna see these two to out scumbag the other only for Christian to learn that Swerve aint a scumbag...he is just evil and makes Christian realize this as he invades his home and hangs his wife upside by her ankles from the roof of their house and threatens to drop her unless Christian admits to his legacy involving Malaysian slaves. |

Yeah, I figured that's where it was headed, too.
Unfortunately I just think it's a trope that's been played out to death.
I mean, I'm not here to rain on anyone's parade, but maybe I need a longer hiatus than 2 weeks this time, because it's all starting to play out like Russo-lite. :-\

Bruh if this was actually anywhere near Russo levels it would have been something actually absurd like Christian would have impregnated Beth Phoenix (the father later revealed to be Vince Russo) and then Copeland cuts a worked shoot promo about how WWE actually is better and quits (also Copeland was inexplicably renamed SVEN for the night which was a storyline about him being disappointed in his new character that was delivered entirely through dirt sheets). |

It'd be Russo-lite if it was nonsensible and made no sense. This was telegraphed in advance and made sense. If anything it was a anti-Russo swerve. |

On the positive side, I do appreciate the small touch of commentary not just signing off like usual to close the show, with Excalibur condeming Chrisitan for stooping so low being the last thing said before we faded to black.

Yeah, if Adam hadn’t done the conchairto on Nick then this would be Russoish, but smashing Nick’s head in directly in front of his crying, shocked, mother makes it perfectly logical for her to decide Christian is the lesser of evils in this situation. |

Hell, the real swerve would’ve been her backing Adam. Her backing Christian makes sense, her not picking a side makes sense, but her siding with Adam would’ve been the real “WTF?!?” finish
